Only kidding about getting it recovered i know there’s so called reconditioned engines out there but I have me doubts on the reconditioned part

It couldn’t of come at a worse time, she split up with partner moved back home then car went belly up all within 4 days so it been a very emotional time trying to get daughter to childminders before work, which she needs a car for finances tight then there’s me in desperate need of a 4x4 as live in middle of nowhere but when I say new I mean around 10 yrs old can always get it recovered to yours 😀

Car was making a noise from engine especially in 1st, 2nd gear, called AA and they said the pipe to air box had come loose, they taped and cable tied it, noise seems a bit better, but still there going to book it into garage for service and for it to be fixed, but before I take it in any opinions as with being a girlie, don't want the garage to try a fleece me, not sure what the actual tube is car in question s a skoda 1.2 2010, noise doesn't seem to be there after 3rd gear
