Thanks for your input gents. I can't help thinking that this is not good enough from skoda. I tend to think it might be as one other person said, it's transference of noise from the suspension into the cabin. I'm going to approach the Skoda dealer about this (after lockdown) and maybe demo another Karoq to compare. My car has the not so low profile 16" wheels so I thought that alone might help with the noise. When I test drove the car it didn't have a spare wheel but when I took delivery they had changed the foam insertion kit for a full size spare. This really surprised me as I hadn't asked for it. I'm going to see if there's a difference with the wheel removed as I can't remember the noise when I did the test drive. The conundrum continues!
