Hey, I have a question, peehaps there is soleone who could help me. Formy wife her fabia i would like to install multi function steering wheel. I already have the buttons but still need the wirring. For the coding i wonder if i have to change anything. Now we have multifunction trough the knob for the windscreenwipers ( basic multifunction ). Do i need to change any coding ? Thnx

Thank you, the car is equiped with the standard phone. Does it need any coding? Would the mfs buttons frol an 2014 octavia work in this fabia?

The problem is not component protection, but some control devices can be equiped and some don't, there is a low version and a high, but i can't find the part numbers of the devices that can be equiped...

Hi, a couple months ago i bought a fabia 3 whitout mfsw, now i want to retrofit it. I have the buttons from an octavia 3, i can order the wiring from steering electronics to the mfsw, but i wonder wich control device can be coded with the mfsw, i heard there are some who can be coded with it and others who don't. Before i order the wiring i want to be sure...

yes, everything in fault history was erased 2 or 3 times, but now everything is ok

I left the coding as i had adapted it. after about 2 hours tried again with the oem leds, no more faults and problem solved. thnx a lot guys

it is set at the moment to 43 algemein led. but good news, the problem is solved. i tried with other original led's, but no difference, still getting fault codes. placed stock license plate lightening back, fault was gone. left the coding on the led configuration and tried about 3 hours later switching again to led, no more faults. i gues it has to do something with the keyless acces system and ignition. i think that the ca-bus system needs to go to full rest mode ( 1 a 2 hours ). May come handy if anyone is facing the same problem. But thanks for the fast reply! thnx

Today i used a vcds to code my license plate lights to led. Everything went fine as showed in topics. however when i instal origninal license plate led lights ( vw passat 2011 or audi a7 2010 ) the fault keeps comming back in my instrument cluster, does anyone have an idea to solve this? It is a octavia model 2015 from november 2014. thnx

I just tried to code this, coding is ok but when i fit original LED licence plate lights from a VW passat or audi a7 i still get a fault in the instrument cluster. does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
