  1. I asked them to do it yesterday, so I presume they did and today I saw him do it. The funny thing is the guy yesterday said 32psi all round but today it was 34psi!
  2. They have been reset each time by the garage. They know what they are doing!
  3. Thanks! Sorry forgot to say they did yesterday and today, though admittedly they weren’t cold especially today!
  4. Can someone explain to me what this means in plain English please! The reason being, over the weekend the tyre pressure warning came on as I was driving along. I checked the tyres and they looked okay, no obvious punctures. Yesterday after work I went to a tyre place near where I work. They had the front tyres off the car and checked everything, all they could say was they were a bit low on pressure. So they inflated the tyres to right pressure (32psi front and back, their words!) and off I go! Today after work warning comes on again! Check pressures! So I call into a different branch of the same company and they check tyres. Their conclusion?! Over inflated! They said they had just replaced there gauges with digital ones as the old ones were giving false readings! Perhaps this was the problem at their other branch...... I get this every time I get the tyres checked. Wrong pressures! Does anyone else get this?! It does my head in, when you leave it to “experts” and they are all different.
  5. ...... would appear to be the correct answer! I actually tried two different batteries though but they were bought at the same time. Hopefully that has sorted it but am carrying spare key just in case!
  6. Why is it always the simple jobs?! The following happened; Change remote key battery appeared on dash Changed battery Tried key from inside house, press open, lights flash, mirrors go out, doors appear open! Press close, lights flash, mirrors don’t move Go out to car. It’s locked! Doors are locked and won’t open. Key appears dead. Nothing happens. Use spare key and doors open! Do I need to do some sort of sequence to activate key with new battery?! Am sure I changed battery before and didn’t have issue or might be different car, I can’t quite remember. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for all your the advice! Forgot to say got the tyre/ tool kit from Vospers Seat in Plymouth if anyone looking for a spare.
  8. So I have now bought a spare wheel/ tool kit for a Seat Mii (ZGBBOM011SE) which in the advert said was compatible with the Citigo/Up as well, although when I asked if it was they couldn’t confirm if it actually was! Anyway it’s a 165/70 R14 85T tyre and the car (my Girlfriends Citigo) has 165/70R14 81T tyres on it. Is this okay?! Same size etc. Just different speed rating?! Now rather confusingly my Citigo has 175/65 R14 82T tyres on it but the spare is a 165/70R14 81T! Can someone offer some advice on this please! I have also seen an advert for a main dealer in Sheffield advertising a spare wheel kit with the 175 /65 tyre so why would you have a 165 if you could have the same tyre as the others?! Am confused! 🤔
  9. Will a standard spare wheel fit in the boot regardless of whether it 14/15/16 inch tyre? or do you need space saver wheel if bigger than 14 inch? Does anyone know part numbers for genuine Skoda parts please! Thanks!
  10. I am looking at buying a Citigo and not sure about which models actually had the sat nav as standard and which have it as an optional extra?! I am looking at cars from 2012 upto to 2015. Some have it fitted, others have the connections for it. I read a buyers guide somewhere that said make sure it’s there, but I don’t know enough about the different models to say it should definitely have one when negotiating to buy a particular car. I did a quick search and a new one seems to sell for @£180. I have a fixed budget so want to get as much car for my money as I can! Thanks.
  11. It’s original with no mods but not perfect or low mileage (@116000). The imperfections are all age related and cosmetic. It’s the age old thing about not giving it away but being realistic!
  12. It’s a standard car with service history. Is there a price guide anywhere for reference?! I was offered a cash price for the car but no where near what I would call a realistic offer.
  13. Is there any real interest in these cars?! I am thinking of selling mine, and it’s a reluctant sale but is there any extra value above a standard VRS? Is it a collectible car?! I don’t want a fortune for it but a fair price! Thanks!
  14. What I forgot to add is, that I am also towing a caravan! Is that an issue with petrol engines? I presume most people tow with a diesel. Thanks for the advice everyone!
