I got about 50000 out of my crossclimates, just changed the front 2 as they were down to legal limit, the rear are feathered on the inside edges, down to 2mm but the rest has about 4-5mm. I will probably leave it another couple of months and then get them changed. And them swap them about as suggested above. 🙂

Hi there, anyone else have a problem with feathering on the inside edges of their rest tyres on an Octavia Estate?

Good evening all, my 2016 petrol VRS has now done 65000m. Yesterday the EPC light came on , stayed on, until,I switched the engine off and on again. It hasn’t reappeared, should I be concerned? Could short crap 5 minute journeys ( my wife), be causing it? Thanks for any answers. 🙂

Hi everyone. My heated windscreen keeps switching itself on. I know this because it shows up as in use in the Maxidot display. I can toggle it’s switch to on and off, but it still stays on - sometimes it will switch off when the Climate Control is switched on. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks

Apart from the obvious anyone know what they actually do for the DSG oil change? I know Skoda charges £199 - just wondered what they actually did for that price? thanks.

I can answer your final,question, yes i believe it was covered under Transmission - although i have the comprehensive cover with extras added.....

Mine was covered by Warranty Direct...a microswitch replaced...

Mine seems just the same as it was- but it is ok.....I will be using it in anger on Tuesday, so I will have a better idea then. 🙂

Well today I had my DSG repair under my non- Skoda warranty. All done. Instead of replacing the gear selector assembly unit they replaced just the selector micro switch due to a TPI( ?) . If I had paid for it myself it would have been £300 inc diagnostic scans. Apparently it is now cheaper since Skosamisdued a TPI, I wonder if the micro switch is a new, revised part? Hopefully that is it fixed....🤞
