  1. hi, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find a replacement aluminium support for the N/S/F lower arm on my mk1 fabia vrs?. the part im talking about is best explained as what the front bolt on the lower arm goes in to ( its a blind aluminium thread), this was stripped by the garage who replaced my lower arms and thought it was ok to use an air gun to tighten the bolts  and as a result the bolt will no longer tighten properly and is a danger to drive so i need the part ASAP as she is my daily driver

    thanks in advance

  2. Hello guys,

My mk1 fabia vrs is soon to hit 150k miles emoji_1F601.png But has recently started to reveal some problems:

    1. The most commonly occurring fault is that when you sit there with the car running for extended periods of time all of a sudden nearly every warning light on the dash will appear and the power steering will be lost (power steering warning light also on!) so I try turning the engine off and back on but the engine will not even attempt to turn over resulting in having to bump start the car (luckily it's only happened when someone is with me).

    2. At other times when I start the car the power steering warning light will come on straight away and I will have no power steering (I've just topped up the power steering fluid level)

    3. And this fault I have only experienced yesterday. I started the car from cold and went to pull out from my road and the car sprung up all the warning lights, it seemed to try and stall for a split second and I lost power!! Then all of a sudden it returned back to normal and the car beeped 5 times in a row

    4. This I also only experienced yesterday was I unlocked the car stuck the key in the ignition and when I turned the key to second ignition none of the pre ignition lights came up and the trip computer and time in on the dash reset but the car started fine!!!

Sorry about the length of this post but I'm confused as to these faults and need some help.

    Thanks guys!!!!

  3. Hi I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on a knock that has developed on the front left of the car ( this has only become apparent after knocking the cat through). I've had the wishbones with ball joints replaced, drop links replaced and top mounts replaced. Also I've checked the engine and gearbox mounts and they seem to be fine the only other thing I could think of is the drive shaft cv joint being on the way out as the opposite side has been replaced previously. If anyone has any idea I would be very greatful.

    Thanks in advance guys :)
