Hi all, This has happened quite a few times, and the car lurches as i'm braking and the revs are flying up. Not meaning to be funny, I know the difference between the accelerator & the brake A Skoda chap has mentioned in the past about the brake pedal switch, think I'll be going down that road, ( whilst in reverse with the hand brake on) Funny tho that when its been into Skoda with all the electronic faults i've had, no faults appear! So much for technology eh. Thanks to all for your replys.

Hi All, I have a 2007 Octavia Auto 2.0 diesel estate, I'm sorry to say!!!! The latest electronic fault to my list is what I class as being bloody dangerous, and wonder if Skoda should sort out f.o.c. ( some hopes) When in c/control and I apply the brake, the revs fly up and the cruise does not disingage!!!!!!! I can assure made me change the colour of my trousers when it happened. I would appreciate any advice, PLEASE.

Hi all, Ideas please, I have a 2007 2.0 ltr tdi auto estate, and my c/control keeps knocking itself off. When engine has been turned off and on again the amber light will re-appear, and all ok. Once when on a motorway in c/c it just switched off whilst driving!! Thanks in anticipation for any advice.

Many thanks guys, air filter newish and very clean, it isn't thick black smoke more dark grey if that makes sense, with regards to revving only when i go on motorway i give it a blast ( up to 85mph) for about a mile engine makes no funny noises I thought it was the other day then realised the wife was singing Under normal driving no smokey. Hi all any help appriciated, not long had my 2007 2.0ltr TDI octavia L&K model mint condition fsh with 73.500 on clock. Have recently noticed that when I put my foot down to over take, for example, she chucks out blackish smoke. Should I start loosing sleep!! Cheers Guys.
