  1. Thanks for the feedback. The Yeti was long gone ages ago replaced with a caddy van but now back in a Skoda again
  2. Well it is Hendrys i went to. The issue i have is that Not that easy my friend as not many Skoda dealerships in Scotland and this one is local to me. Well thats the issue, is it worth taking the chance or let it get worse so it might be easier to diagnose. I felt if they have to strip the engine then it should be covered by warranty.
  3. So i have had this car just over a year, but there has been a knocking sound for nearly the full duration. I took it into the dealer and they replaced a cv joint or something under warranty but the noise is still there. Again taken it back to the dealership who said they cannot find any fault (they were only looking for fault in the suspension as i said it sounds like a drive shaft or something). When i got it back i said i would get a video and send it to them, which i did. When the car is under load there is a distinctive knocking sound...they concluded its not an issues with the suspension components but might be the engine. I have the full components warranty from Skoda but they have said if the issue that is not covered by warranty then i could be charged, with a potential up to 20 hours of work (maybe more). There is the video from the dealership to my house and the various times it happened. Few different senior techs and management went out and confirmed the noise is there, but they cannot determine where from. Also suggested to keep running it until it gets worse, but i did say what happens if its a catastrophic engine failure, he didnt have an answer to that. So would you authorise the investigation into it? saying ill be without a car for a considerable amount of time, but should get a courtesy car. Also any other had this issue and have a suggestion what it could be ? TIA

I know it has been asked about these headunits and i have used the search already but struggling to find the answer im looking for Thanks in advance for any help. Rob
  5. This year ill be camping to bring down costs and get to enjoy the sat night
  6. So unfortunately this happened: ended up getting another one from a scrappy for £25 Now just re replace the badges, was initially going for L&K ones, tried them but didnt go well with the colour of the car, so will replace with newer style ones soon
  7. Beading on my vRS with some Autofinesse Desire
  8. The the reviews they have been given from others, it seems like they are good, also they come to you to do the remap and pricing doesnt seem too bad. I have also noticed my mpg going from 48 to 51 on a usual run i do (when im not flooring it)
  9. It was the figures given by the tuning company, only true test when i get rolling road
  10. So got my car remapped from Absolute Remaps in EK, they are mobile and came to me. really nice map, and pull like a train, got a little video and this is the best i could get with the rubbish weather conditions recently. They are saying will put up to approx 220bhp with 330ftlb torque. Totally changes the car and made it come alive!
