i can post up a generic map you can put on yourself?
-
I have got something similar to this, but cant get vcds working properly however i have managed to load different generic remaps and i also pulled my standard map off.I may post these maps on the forum for standard Fabia owners to use
-
im interested bud im sure the other fabias would come too
-
Hi, have you still go the pipe that connects to the 90 degree elbow on the intake? goes from that down to the intercooler i believe? mines split
-
You can get them off here cheap http://fiberworxonline.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=38 im gonna get mine from there its mainly honda parts but who cares
-
haha funny guy!! ill order off fleabay if needs be!
-
Nope only found the 0 sugar relenteless and it was poop :(

Oh yes, vv common, get a new pipe, clip and o-ring. I did that on my wifes A3 ASZ lump and My brothers Fabia VRS but on both the pipe behind the headlight then started popping off. In the end I replaced the whole boost pipe assembly from the intercooler to the EGR. Its not vastly expensive just a bit fiddly.
i think ill invest in a hardpipe kit and some better clamps! i want to do a track day and dont want that blowing off aha
-
What? Sounds like you have done something wrong then. What pipe? The boost pipe? In which case you need a new one, they are cheap and a 2 second swap.
its the 90 degree pipe that connects to the egr valve, i think the metal clip is worn
-
Yup that's me. I posted on here when I started learning.
Always log!
aha ive already contacted you about a quote on a map, but cant afford it currently! so went for this route i made a DIY Egr blank yesterday too, all is good apart from the pipe to egr keeps blowing off -.-
-
Have you checked its boosting ok?
i havent checked anything yet pal, im going to use VCDS to make sure its all ok, arent you the guy from hidden power?
-
Alright i knew id get some abuse haha, i wanted to have a go at mapping one in im not fussed about sitting at the local tesco making diesel noises! i wanted to have a go at mapping launch control as well just to try it
-
If it works and you are happy then thats good. That is my outlook. Why pay 10x the amount of 95% for 100% when you are happy with 95%.
haha thats true, i just wanted that little more go, so this was by far the cheapest route as it cost me £8
-
My self and my two friends with fabia's are 100% confirmed see you all there!
-
Any guys on here know how to map a popcorn limiter onto an ecu, i fancy doing it myself ive got the hardware so thats not an issue
-
You're probably better off checking the project thread as that would be quicker.
True my bad fella
-
Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.
Hi dan
it runs out next month so i will give you a call very soon
-
Well my mate had a remap That was just generic, so it was just loaded on without a rolling road so i copied his from his ecu to mine and after confirming some bits its worked and mines now got a stage 1 map probably a crap map but oh well

I'd personally get a FMIC, PD150 turbo, EGR Delete, Exhaust system, AP Coilovers and a remap (and a clutch if you can afford one for more torque capability)
