  1. I re read comments, I know what u mean about diesel gate. I have been in contact with trust emission, but they say It's not that,. I am tired of all of them pointing finregs at each other Can anyone please give me advise, what next, how will this affect can in the future?
  2. Warranty deffinetly are not cozy, coz it's a extended third party, and they have tried to cut cost on everything. I am speaking now to skoda uk s I haven't got my warrnaty left and trust in the car for future run, it's unacceptable for a car break like this. Have you got any link where I can read so at least I can point it out? I am so disappointed in skoda atm, at first I was angry, but now I a very upset with all this.
  3. Oh God, a little update. I am still with out a car. It has been now over 7 weeks. They have fitted new engine, turbo, full exhaust system, and yesterday they found that injectors are swollen and need complete change, all 4 of them.. My warranty has paid out all the money that my car is worth. Now I am thinking why they haven't seen all those problem, OK, u might not be able to see, but it's not one part gone bad, it's a 3 major parts in the car, why they haven't thought about writing a car off,I am scared to think what if they find more repairs needs to be done, or how does all this will affect car in the future?
  4. Not a problem, i hope it will help someone if they are in the same situation
  5. Progress is useless. They don't care about their customers, new or old. I really don't know why they are letting themselves down, each year! There is no improvements in customer service or in service department. Knowledge in service department it's just appalling. Will not recommend to any one.
  6. Very, very poor customer service. I wouldn't kno where to begin... Let's just say they need to get their act together, even getting rid of very unprofessional staff, they have still got a poor knowledge service department.have raised a complaint regarding their mechanic telling me that I have overfilled my car with oil, when actually their wasnt any over filling, that they drained oil what was supposed to be there! and told me it was overfilling. That's told in a nutshell. My advice-don't take ur car there.comolained raised 3 weeks ago,and they still "investigating". Let's see how long will it take them.
  7. OK, update and end of post. Warranty is putting new engine, new turbo and new exhaust system. Contaminated oil, diesel found in oil. No over filling, just raisen level, because of diesel (I am guessing) All good at the end. Didn't have to pay for diagnistics, skoda paid as a goodwill gesture. Thank you all
  8. Hi Thats they reply I get today So they have done all that under my warranty, nothing is mentioned about trust warranty I am confused..
  9. Hi Thats they reply I get today So they have done all that under my warranty, nothing is mentioned about trust warranty I am confused..
  10. Too right! But they don't have a way out, it's their fault. I will be reading more in to the matter, so I got all the info Thank you for all the replies and info))
  11. Perfect, will tell my other half to have a look. Thank you
  12. Thats what I thought, logically extended warranty will just say that its their fault. Oh well, as long as they can fix and it won't have any negative side effects in the future, then I will be happy. I have actually spoken to vw that I would like a refund of the time I was without a car, which I was actually promised if anything happens I will be provided with courtesy car. In my view, correct me if I am wrong, why should I pay for something I don't have. And especially if its not my fault. I am not being cheeky, please don't get me wrong, but it's unfair that I have to chase them up with any info, that I now struggle to take my kid to school(we don't live in the city) and my work. Really disappointed. And if I am being honest it's not the first time.
  13. Will update once any news Can ask, what car make would you suggest for small journeys? Would u know how will this affect car in the future? Will it be negative experience for my car going through all this?))
  14. I have got extended warranty, with third party, I guess it will have to got through them then. Or not? I am sure those things should be covered in warranties. Do u think it's turbo too?? But is it really worth it to repair?
  15. Ah I see, sorry cars are not my strongest point))) will let my other half know too,he will probably understand what u mean, thank you
  16. Perfect, will read in a bit. Yes, that's what they said under that warranty, It's only done less than 40000 miles
  17. Like I said I don't pour anything myself in to my car, except diesel in petrol station, I ask my other half to fill screenwash)) not even embarrassed)) Anyway, lst year I have serviced my var and they have filled 5.3 engine oil in my car, which is 4.3 a max capacity. So I am confused a bit as why would they fill tht much, and how is physically possible
  18. I do understand and I have learnt now, sadly I wasn't informed about this when purchasing a car. Lately dealers just want to sell u a car, rather to find out what is actually best for u. Well I do hope that Skoda now will learn too, that all those emission problem it's all down to them, and it's looking to be very costly for them.
  19. Skoffski Yes, I totally agree with u, I serviced my car only at the skoda dealers, and I don't touch my car, if something is wrong I rush to dealers straight away. I am happy that they are actually found problem and trying to repair, but I am worried what will and how will all this react in future of the car? Engine and dpf Regards a dealer accusing me I am taking a procedure against them. I mean is it actually possible to over fill?? In my case they are saying by 4 ltrs!!?
  20. Every day, I wouldnt say short journeys. But surely we don't buy car depending on the journeys we do. I did take her out on carriageway for long distance, once a month or mby twice. I guess that wasn't enough ((
  21. I hope u didn't pay, as soon as u pay u won't get it back. Skoda uk is responsible. I am goi g through a similar issue, one skoda dealer accusing me of overfilling oil, and when took cr to another skoda they r saying that they were hardly any oil left. Broken injector and glow plug. They are repairing under skoda emission trust warranty. And investigating an engine oil too, as they think its been contaminated
  22. They are sending sample of oil for investigation, as its "been contaminated" Waiting for hear about this too I have involved now skoda uk and my finance, coz I think it's really serious matter, as why one garage pointing fingers at me I ve been with out a car for over a week now Injector is broken, that means some of it might be in cylinder and probably damaged valves too. Who knows. It's a very in depth work and I really don't know when will I get my car back
  23. Thank you all for answering, Little update One skoda dealer saying that I have overfilled with oil, which I haven't, wouldn't even know where to pour. So rang another garage to take car away from there - another skoda dealer, so they have got my car with them. They are saying broken injector and broken glow plug. And apparently barely any oil!!! So now complaining about first skoda dealer! As why they have accused me with overfilling, and why they are making up about any overfilling oil. Now my car is being repaired under trust emission warranty. Because they have done something last year if I remember correctly. Skoda rapid 1.6 tdi, diesel Thank you once again for all reolys
  24. What can cause engine oil to raise? Skoda dealers saying that glow plug has broken. Could that be a issue for oil level to raise?
  25. Skoda rapid 1.6 diesel Is it really possible?
