I find it amazing that a tomtom that cost about £120 can significantly out perform an oem system costing around £900!

I do 18-20k a year and I would subscribe to the traffic but unfortunately my Yeti is too old to have the skoda connect facility.

cheers Cubbington, I have now gone back to the previous update which works ok but not an ideal scenario, I'll wait for the next update to see if that's better, I have nothing on motorways either even on the original maps? and don't even get me started on the useless traffic alerts...

Urrell, that's more annoying than my issue

Great answer Liger1956 thanks, so far (only done one journey once update) on a 50 road it shows only 50 on a dual carriageway it showed both, is there any way of turning the towing figure off? Cheers

Hi, I've just updated my satnav to the 19/20 version via the portal and it's now showing 2 speed limits on the map? Where it's 70 it shows 70 and above it 60 etc, anyone know why this is happening? Thanks in advance

After 2yrs of Fabia MK3 ownership and all the disappointment with the car/s and dealer it's time to move on, not far (VW) but I can know longer deal with Skoda Customer Services and my cack dealer, If anyone is interested in buying my genuine boot liner or flexible boot tidy thingy drop me a message, but due to weight collection from Kent or Sidcup areas only. This forum has been very useful over the past so keep up the good work so its Arovoir from me

Switching off with keyless go & DSG
DRSSkoda replied to DRSSkoda's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)
Not tried it from cold only after a journey of about an hour put it straight into the park open the door ignition switches off? I will try it cold tomorrow morning I am pretty sure that it hasn't done it before and having had it nearly 2 years and not notice it do it I seem to think that there may be something wrong with it thanks -
Today I noticed that my car turns off when I open the driver's door? I've had the car nearly two years and it's the first time I've noticed it does this has anyone else notice this on their car with the keyless go button and DSG. I'm pretty sure the when I've done it before a message came up that's said please switch engine off or something like that but as I say now when I pull up put the handbrake on and put it in Park it seems to just switch off the ignition when the door is opened so I was wondering whether I need to go to the dealers to have it looked at or if they all do that. Any help is appreciated.

Hi COOPY no problem here you go....
-
I get 50-56mpg doing 75 miles a day mostly motorways and only doing 60-65mph, boring but I am slightly obsessed with MPG figures sad to say....

I had a ''Missing'' feeling whilst driving and it was diagnosed as needing a new clutch pack, there seems to be a few out there that are faulty, mine was only a few months old with low mileage... been done a few months now and seems ok, this is a known fault despite what the dealer tells you.
