  1. Collection from Leeds area next Thursday - Saturday
  2. Hi. Resurrecting this listing as it was a waste of time on eBay, someone won and didn’t pay. I decided to wait till autumn to try again. Tyre dates are 2018 and 2015. Original description still valid. Not been used since Jan as I sold the car. Any questions let me know. Apologies for for not replying earlier in the year. I just didn’t see them after I’d listed on eBay To answer now. Yes they fit vrs. They are from my 65 plate vrs diesel. Size they are 225 45 17.
  3. Last chance or I’ll have to eBay them. £350 these are the absolute dogs danglies of winter tyres, 2 of which are almost new.
  4. I’ve just traded my Octavia vrs so selling my winter wheels and tyres 2 tyres are pretty much new, about 1500 miles, 2 still have loads of tread. They are all Goodyear Ultra grip gen 1. The new ones are a different load index. 94 vs 91 I think but I’ve run them on different axles. Wheels originally from Mr Winter Wheels so not OE but Skoda centre caps fit. They are 17in so replacing tyres is cheaper. If you care what winters look like they could do with a refurb but they are all straight. They are just silver so cheap for refurbs. Because 2 tyres are new I’m looking for £450. Collection from Pudsey near Leeds. Regarding collecting I work away a lot and next time I’m home is 1st Feb. Any questions, please ask.
  5. I started a thread about the same issue. My long term is just under 38mpg. Does seem to be getting better with a few more miles on it. It's annoying though, i don't mean from cost because on a Santander 123 card my last fill up was 43 quid. It's that you can buy much faster cars that don't use much more fuel. I have a mate with a BMW 235 and he gets in the 40s on a run and that's got over 300ps. Not only 184
  6. Totally agree with the worries about legislation. The scandal hit shortly after I ordered my car and even though I like the car I can say I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known. I would have probably got a Golf GTE.
  7. I have a 1.6tdi Leon at the moment because my vrs has an oil pressure issue (most likely a sensor ) 1200 miles old
  8. lots of worry over nothing imo. Cars drop in value, so what. If I end up handing it back then it's still very cheap over the term for what it is. If you are worried the GFV should be lower just pretend it is and put 50 quid a month in a savings account each month.
  9. So then, it turns out it's got a faulty oil pressure sensor. Earlier this week the glow plug light came on. I wonder if this could be contributing to the poor mpg, the technician who came out agreed the 37.5mpg was poor for my 1200 miles from new.
  10. I thought that too. But the chap got here, pulled a laptop out checked for faults etc. Unfortunately he couldn't fix my particular fault due to location of the sensor that's broken.
  11. Call skoda assistance. Just had someone out for mine. Brilliant service.
