  1. So they all look alright, so the lock unit will.be at fault Are eBay lock units any good?
  2. Rear driver's door won't lock, I believe something has been changed in VCDS because beeping on unlock had been turned on and other irritating things If anyone could walk me though how to fix this it would be great Car is a 07 fabia vre SE
  3. I had 240bhp from a gtb 1756 turbo, needed supporting mods such as fmic and hard pipes, sachs sre cluth and upgraded pressure plate, pd150 headbolts you cant just upgrade the turbo, you need to do the supporting mods or your car isnt going to be reliable and the power will eat the clutch up pretty fast, unless you can get it mapped to be gentle, but where is the fun in that?!
  4. Are you sure its not the lugs on the 90 degree pipe that goes into the ASV that are worn? Ive had this a fair few times on my old fabias
  5. Get a decent stage 1 map and give it a detail, Id think about lowering it because they look like they are on stilts in standard form!
  6. If I had to pick 2 it would be remap and coil overs After that if you're chasing big power you're gunna have to spend £££'s
  7. My wing mirror adjustment and heated mirrors wont work, They look like that have been changed for black ones (red car) Had the door card off an everything looks connected apart from door speaker which is missing Cant see any obvious snaps in the wire also where the door loom goes through the shell into the car, cant see any damage there. Haven't checked the passenger door yet Is there anything else i can try before i pull the other door card off? Any particular place to look for problems? Thanks
  8. Sell them on ebay, i got a cat back exhaust for my old fabia for around £115, i think the back box deletes are around £90? Fit pretty well tbh!
  9. If you dont wanna spend the money on a proper exhaust system then you could get a muffler delete Sound pretty much the same as the piper cat backs as they are just straight pieces of pipe. But as people have said you arent going to get a nice engine note from a derv
  10. Thermostat was changed, car get up to temp lovley and sticks there! Bit of a ball ache bleeding the system in this cold weather but its all done now! Cheers for the help!
  11. Oh jesus, knew someone would ask this... WELL, me and my mates went to change the top mounts on the suspension, we took the wheel off after jacking the car up. The studs on the top mounts were touching the hole on top, seperate problem requiring 2 new front struts! Saw that there was a bolt missing outta the subframe, a 19mm bolt i think my friend said? (sounds pretty important) We gave it all a wobble and everything was loose, the wishbones were moving sideways by about 3-4mm, WE thought oh right some d*ick hasnt tightened it up, oh no how wrong we were, somebody has stripped the thread and welded a long bolt to the wishbone so bacically its a just a ****ty weld holding the wish bone in, looked on the other side and was similar problems. The guys just said it will be easier to drop the whole subframe out and replace everything! TBH i was bricking it, but got the subframe and wishbones for £40 and will get mates rates at the garage
  12. Ibiza** apologies I used to have a seat leon so i'm used to typing that haha! Pretty sure the FR had the PD 130 (same as the VRS fabias) and the cupra had the PD160, I think its a diesel one that he is stripping, will make sure before i get the parts off of him
