  1. Obdeleven has an app to add this option for the Mk4 Octavia that have ACC but I haven’t tried it. Hopefully this means it maybe coming to the Kodiaq
  2. Ok guys I can confirm that 20x8.5 ET45 wheels fit perfectly fine with 235/35/20 tyres on a Mk4 Octavia VRS Estate. No rubbing on full lock and ride quality is the same. Pics below.
  3. Harder to sell aswell when you want to down the track. Only certain buyers will want this colour
  4. So I’ll answer my own question here. No they do not make a Eibach Pro kit for the Skoda Octavia VRS Mk4. Only a Sportline version which is part number E20-79-016-03-22 and only for the estate car. There do not offer a Eibach or Sportline spring for the non estate car. There is a good Eibach website where you can find the part number for your vehicle. Eibach Online Parts Catalogue
  5. Hi I’ve been doing some research and can’t find the part number for Eibach Pro lowering springs for the Mk4 Skoda Octavia VRS estate? I can see they sell Sportline springs but not sure I want to go that low. They are obviously springs for the Mk3 but not sure they are compatible with the Mk4. If anyone has a part number for the Eibach Pro springs for the Mk4 VRS Estate it would be appreciated.
  6. Thanks for the info but I have researched all that info previously. I know that the 235 or 245 tyre can fit on the 8.5” rim, that’s easily found on any tyre / rim compatibility table. I’ve also picked out the tyre I want (Falken Azenis FK510 - $235 AUD each). I just wanted to know if anyone had fitted this tyre to a Mk4 VRS to ensure I don’t hit the front guards etc on full lock. I think I’ll be fine I’ve seen mk4s run 20” x 8.5 ET45 wheels on the Concaver wheels website and the tyre isn’t hugely different from the stock diameter. I’ll let everyone know in 2-3 weeks when I get the wheels and tyres on.
  7. I should have stated 245/30/20. I am not interested in going 235/30/20 which is why I was asking about 235/35/20 tyres and if anyone has fitted them. The load rating of the tyre I am looking to fit is 92Y which exceeds the original 89W so no issues with outside diameter or load index…
  8. Hi guys, got some Koya Semi Forged wheels getting made over the next couple of weeks. Going 20”x8.5 ET45. Anyone running 235/35/20 tyres on their Mk4 Octy’s yet? Thought this was a safer bet than 245/35/20. I wanted a thicker sidewall instead of going the usual 235/30/20.
  9. Just in reply to this, Milotec.de have released a rear bumper protector for the Mk4 Octavia VRS now. Also have released a rear diffuser (is compatible with the electric fold away tow hitch too). Have mailed them to get a quote for shipping. Link is below https://milotec.de/Milotec-Ladekantenschutz-passend-fuer-Octavia-IV-Combi-RS-Combi-ABS-schwarz-Klavierlack::3965.html
  10. Yeah I just installed the 034 X34 Carbon intake and 034 X34 Carbon Fresh Air Duct. Gotta say it goes heaps harder. Mid range punch and top end is much better. Initial throttle response is definitely more noticeable too. Won’t tune this car hey. I reckon it goes as hard now as when I had a JB4 connected to my 162 Octy VRS Mk3. Except this car has traction… (no LSD in the 162) Will get the 034 Turbo Inlet Pipe installed soon. Am also going to order rear gloss black diffuser, gloss black rear loading sill protector and some front and rear air inlets from Milotec. Just waiting on getting a quote for shipping to Australia.
  11. Here you go mate. The Mk4 Canton has more equaliser levels so I just made them the same for those that had more. Everything else is the same and transfers over. Sounds much better with them. I found if you want more punchier bass just increase the subwoofer level rather than the bass otherwise it’s too boomy (like in the photos)
  12. That makes it even weirder as I watched a ShopDAP video of the Mk8 GTI and our PCV is different to theirs too, it doesn’t have the sensor on it, aswell as our HPFP. So we may have got the Mk3.5 engine. Hopefully not I was liking that the newer engine got Golf R internals (conrods etc).
  13. In Australia it’s the same but not sure if it’s the Mk3.5 engine or what because our Mk3.5’s had port injection but the MkIVs in Australia don’t (but have IS20 with no OPF). Makes fitting intakes etc much easier as existing MQB mods all fit up 😊
  14. Hi I have MKIV Skoda Octavia RS Estate in Australia that came with the IS20 Turbo but gen4 ea888 engine (no OPF, with cat instead). Australian VRS’s don’t get the OPF here so retain the IS20 (not Garrett turbo) but still have the new ECUs. This means that existing mods off the 5E fit ie cold air intakes. Do Mk3 VRS Estate catback exhausts fit the MkIV VRS? Is the exhaust configuration the same? A quick look under the car shows it to be very similar if not identical. Would make hunting for a catback exhaust much easier.
  15. I have the Canton Audio in my Skoda Mk4 VRS and yea sound was very much to be desired out of the box. I got my previous Mk3 Octavia VRS Canton system sound tuned by a Audio installer and it sounded way better. I put the same settings into the new Octavia (most of the settings were the same between the two) and it made a big improvement. Obviously not going to stand up to a aftermarket professional setup but in Australia the Canton upgrade comes in one big pack (called Premium pack) and wanted the other options in there… plus it sounds better than without it so I’m happy.
