  1. Are you using a 6 point socket? Im afraid butchery is the only option. 😩 If mine ever seased, I would cut a notch in the cover and chisel it out. This would also, if you cut through the whole thickness of the edge of the cover, expose the threads, allowing the wd40 to penetrate deeper. I really hope you are able to sort this🤞🏻
  2. I swapped my rear springs for some Lesjöfors when it got saggy. 4285730 was the number on them, and they are the same as 1K0511115CT. Height is spot on. 4085719 is the front springs, and their number is 1K0411105DK/DL. Regarding comfort, not sure what to say. Im on 18s, but can't complain really.
  3. 1K0521307A is the right number. Tho you are sure its that part thats faulty? Have done the same mistake of thinking it was aswell, when it turned out it was not ment to be attatched to all of the rubber.
  4. 2007 is Gen2. Filling is the same on both, just the filter on the other side thats different.
  5. They are 8" wide and ET47. Rubbing is not the issue, its getting used to the wider and noisier tire when comming from soft 225 winter tires. Tho after using them for the last couple days, they are starting to grow on me, and if I remember correctly, its the same every year, even with 225 as used before
  6. New summer calls for new wheels, this time some Audi S-Line rims. Really like the look, tho not sure about the 245 tires yet..
  7. New season, new wheels. Always liked the look of the Trinitys, so when I found a set for a decent price, there was no going back. They have a more narrow track and width than the Canyons, so a less "aggressive" look (if one can say that about a Scout ), but are better for the handling. And I do like they way they look on a Mk2.
  8. Bought the car a set of Landsail LS588 recently. The car was equiped with the same type when I got it, and being happy with them, I got the same brand when going up to 18". Done very well on tests, and quite good on price compared to "premium" brands.
  9. Hi, had a change of heart regarding new wheels? ☺
  10. Hello! I know the Gen2 and Gen4 operate differently, but is the haldex unit in itself also different? Have been checking pictures and they do look very much alike. So my question is, are they interchangeable if one swap over the controller? The reason for asking is leaking and play in the left driveshaft on my 08 Scout, and a local to me has a Gen4 at a decent price. Thanks Kristian
  11. Hello fellow countryman, and even same city Its a nice car you have there, really liking the look of the Trinitys Im wondering what kind of velcro did you us to fasten the license plate? Cause I have tried Biltema's on the plastic type plate I currently have, tho it works when dry, it copes rather poorly when wet. Not sure if its the texture at the back of the plastic ones causing it, or the velcro itself, but I have to start somewhere!
  12. Well they will both fit the front Mine came with a rear badge in the front, and it was not untill I started taking the grille apart for paint I realised it was a rear badge. :p
  13. The 1U one is for the boot, and the 3U is for the front.
