  1. Replacing electric boot motors

    Right hand side motor gave up, and to a handy person it might seem blatantly obvious - but how do I remove the locking pin without breaking it? Can I just jack up the vertical part with a screwdriver, or do I need to do something with the horizontal parts on top and bottom? The warning text from the repair book says to lever it, but it seems stuck as it is now.
