What makes you think your system has stopped supporting android auto ? I can lose android auto "AA" after a mobile software update either android patches or AA itself. After lots of fruitless searching I find when this happens it works to dump the Bluetooth settings to the AA dongle and the car and let then phone reconnect to both

I had a similar issue and on inspection I found that the plastic ring/ shroud around the speaker and between the the door card had worked loose and was reverberating at the lower Base notes. This was on the nearside front door. Having pushed this back into place all was ok

Just posting an update I plumped to buy this adapter. and got to say its worked really well just get in the car and go nice and compact works like a dream for AA connectivity not tried the Carplay option

Whilst not a fix to the exact problem my problem has been a member than acceptable work around. I've fitted an Android auto dongle which Bluetooth to my phone and auto connects as soon as ignition goes on its never failed and gives a great service search for them on Amazon

Mine is diesel. It drove home from York to Huddersfield as initially it sounded very noisy top end and a blowing exhaust when the engine ran. It got.ipto speed 80mph and went fine no noise good acceleration all seemed ok Until 5 miles from home when I slowed / stopped for traffic. After that it still limped home and to garage the following morning.

Is that for the diesel engine which mine is ?

Repeating what .mechanic said and the.photo of a frayed belt still on the engine. It's a diesel as well not petrol and tbh I have no idea re the.ttpe of e gine its a skpda octavoa vrs 2017 diesel automatic

Sadly yes 😔 not failed as in snapped just frayed across 50% ish of its width what happened to your engine

OK guys my cambelt has frayed ot snapped and potentially slipped one or more teeth. My question what damage can expect to have happened to the engine. How likley is that the engine just needs a top end rebuild Or am I realistically looking at a full rebuild. Anyone know of a good builder West Yorkshire
