  1. Swapping for Carplay Unit - Whathappens to the buttons

    I have the very basic head unit in my 2013 SE Octavia and was lookin gat upgrading to an android type head unti or similar that would support a reversign camera and carplay etc. but I was wondering what happensn to the surrounding buttons and functions from the existing head unit, Phone, Vehicle status etc.

    Hello, @pab567 I only just found this thread (have had the car 6 years..... Is it possible to get a link to the software update for my stereo please? Device Part Number - 5E0035842A Hardware:040 Software:0421 Media Codec:N/A Are there any features in the updates, as the radio all seems to work OK as it is, but would eventually like to upgrade to something with carplay (once I find the right thread!)
