  1. Just wondering if this is a common fault I'd imagine it isn't though. Upon braking at a slow speed there is the dreaded noise of metal upon metal, I only bought the car at new year 13000 miles so thought nothing of it, the other night whilst braking to enter my drive I heard the noise again so investigated under torchlight, it appears that the pads have worn at a severe angle as if the calliper piston is only pushing one edge or one edge of the pads is stuck in the calliper. With it being a 62 plate car with low mileage I'd imagine this could well be the original set of pads and discs. The car is off back to the car people for warranty issues with the rear heated window so I've highlighted that the front brakes require attention. Anyone had this with front discs/pads/calipers? First time I've seen it and I've had a few cars that have been driven hard over the years on B roads and trackdays
  2. Huddersfield, seen a green fabia 2 vrs with a bonnet bra on a couple of times local to me
  3. Fitted these the other week but today's the first chance I've had to get it all clean and get a photo Next on the agenda is swapping the other bulbs to 'white' lights, anyone running DRL'S constantly? And if so how I'll probably go for crees with the other bulbs and may change the smd's at some point but had them in my vectra so thought I might as well swap them
  4. First chance I've had to clean it, dodo juice 2 bucket wash and a quick run over with poorboys world black hole show glaze on a waffle pad as the light was going, didn't have time to seal/wax
  5. Not a bad finish polished finish from the car people, I dare say it'll look better with a full detail once it needs washing and I've spent the day on it
  6. It's still looking ok from picking it up but the first wash it'll be getting clayed polished, sealed, waxed etc
  7. New skoda owner found the forum via Google so thought I'd join up Just took the 12 smd sidelights out my vectra and popped them in, should look a little better at dusk now
  8. New monte carlo owner 62 plate anthracite grey 1.2 TSI 105 Nice drive lacks a little torque that I've been used to in my vectra sri 150 diesel, lovely car though. Future plans -40mm drop from the stilt like springs it currently sits on. Anyone recommend a set of springs?
