  1. Well this certainly answers why it happened, thanks @pikpilot for sharing this 👍 I did suffer for good few months before attempting to replace battery.
  2. I've replaced battery , hot start issue disappeared. Would be good to know why it happened due to low amps from battery , one would expect cold start to be difficult on low powered battery.
  3. Few years down the road the injector has failed and has been replaced, expecting few more to fail. Apparently known problem with CR injectors.
  4. Hi @Coinneach - did battery replacement solved a problem ?
  5. Hello Briskodian's Wonder has anyone came across unusual engine vibration ? Seems like both hot or cold engine - makes no difference ... 160 k km so not too high . Cannot determine pattern or rootcause seems it just appeared out of nowhere , although to be honest alternator is making some sort of bearing wear noise ( perhaps clutch on pulley is also gone - tensioner doesn't indicate so tho, no vibration or excessive movements) . Decided to hook up VCDS and investigate further : 086 Engine oil temperature-TOIL 65 °C 087 Engine speed 779 /min 163 Injection amount deviation cylinder 1-FAC_CYL_BAL1 -0.2232 mg/stroke 164 Injection amount deviation cylinder 2-FAC_CYL_BAL2 -0.4429 mg/stroke 165 Injection amount deviation cylinder 3-FAC_CYL_BAL3 -0.4081 mg/stroke 166 Injection amount deviation cylinder 4-FAC_CYL_BAL4 1.0769 mg/stroke 168 Injection valve 1; voltage-V_INJ_MAIN[0] 121.54 V 169 Injection valve 2; voltage-V_INJ_MAIN[1] 121.05 V 170 Injection valve 3; voltage-V_INJ_MAIN[2] 121.54 V 171 Injection valve 4; voltage-V_INJ_MAIN[3] 116.60 V 172 Injector valve 1; capacity-CAPA_INJ_MAIN[0] 6.0089 µF 173 Injector valve 2; capacity-CAPA_INJ_MAIN[1] 6.0172 µF 174 Injector valve 3; capacity-CAPA_INJ_MAIN[2] 6.0089 µF 175 Injector valve 4; capacity-CAPA_INJ_MAIN[3] 6.3930 µF Injector 4 ? From owning 1.9 PD engine I recall that -/+ 2.8 are normal amount - still quite high . Is it trying to compensate for something ? It's known that just because there is deviation in injection amount it is not a solid indicator for injector failure - so what could it be ? DMF ? Does anyone recommend purging - Liquid Molly ( seems like solution to go with ) ? Hope someone has some sort of ideas P.S. First post - been registered for good few year and lurking around !
