  1. Thanks - battery on order - I'll check out the trickle charger too ! Cheers
  2. So the yeti is now a second car and doesn't get huge mileage. 3000 a year or so and nothing much over 10 mile trips. Battery has gone flat over the weekend. Dug out the multimeter and it's at 7v or so. Is it worth getting a battery charger or should I just bite the bullet and get a new battery ? It's a 2012 and I think we've had it since 2016 or so. Thanks
  3. I'd completely forgotten about the headrest issue. Glad your wife is comfortable now ! I'm still enjoying the yeti. Great cars.
  4. When I picked my second hand Yeti up - it took me a while to realise the front headrests were odd. And another day or so to realise so were the ones in the rear. No idea what headrest should go where now - but the "lower" ones are in the front seats and I think its more comfy this way.
  5. Oops. Stupid sig wasnt updated. That's interesting - the bit I twiddled had a 'lock' engraving on it but it wasnt on the inner side of the door - rather the rear facing side. I shall have another look. Thanks.
  6. Hmmm - mine does the same - the child lock thing on the door just seems to be 'unconnected' - theres no clicks or anything and it has no effect on the door locking. I think it will be back to the dealer.
  7. Thanks for the link to the video - will make it a lot easier when I get round to doing mine !
  8. As soon as you buy anything new you take a hit on it. Everyone knows this. Once you've bought it I dont think its worth paying attention to the market unless you have to.
  9. Air is denser in the cold. Was it colder weather than you're used to ? (I'd probably not overthink the consumption based on just one trip though)
  10. Aah thanks chaps. Ordered and they've already despatched them. I've never had such speedy service ! Super indeed.
  11. Are these worth fitting ? The Before and After shots on Superskoda don't really look much different at all ?
  12. Just found this - soooo we have sliding seats - apart from the one thats stuck in the middle ?? That seems a bit bobbins doesn't it ? Maybe handy if you have a U shape load to take....
  13. Thanks for the comments - I shall go with the spare ! I must admit I can't remember the last time I got "one" - so that's probably jinxed it for me. In my experience carrying a spare battery round would have been better value - but I guess everyone has different experiences. Cheers Chaps !
  14. My dealer has found a Yeti for me and this one comes with a spare wheel (unusually ?). Now I've not seen the boot space with a wheel in there - but I think its a higher floor ? The dealer will swap it out for the tyre weld if I want - but is it a problem ? I'm not sure how much space it takes out of the boot. And if it WAS a problem - could I just take the wheel and leave it in my garage or is the floor rigid and doesn't give me any more space ? Thanks !

    Bikes inside

According to this - https://media.skoda-auto.com/Pictures/Products/Fabia/new_Fabia/new_fabia_combi/_w/FabiaCombi_int_027_jpg.jpg It looks like you can leave the back seats in - but just down if you use the internal bike rack ?
  16. Thanks for the advice - I'd not even considered the cheap Halfords option ! But the Skoda module does sound interesting too. I think we'll pass on the park assist - although the fact that you can get a car to do this blows my mind completely. Parallel parking is something I rarely need to do - so I'm rubbish at it ! ;-)
  17. Hi Just looking to join the world of Yetis - my wife has specific needs that she wants ticked off - it has to be a certain colour with a certain engine and have bluetooth. If I can find the engine and colour but without the Bluetooth - are there aftermarket kits that work well ? Or is it best to hold off and find one that ticks all the boxes ? Thanks.
