  1. View Advert 215/60/R16 WInter Rims and Tyres (Karoq) Hi All I have for sale: 4 x BRAND NEW 16" Black Steel Rims 6J x16.0 5/112 ET 43 2 x 215/60/R16 Michelin Alpin 5 XL 99H Winter tyres (approx 6 - 7mm) 2 x 215/60/R16 Kleber Krisalp HP3 XL 99H Winter tyres (approx 6 - 6.5mm) Will get some pics of the tyres uploaded soon. The tyres did a round trip to the French Alps in February 2020 and were faultless. I then bought the rims September 2020 as we were due to drive to France again but then our trip was cancelled and have remained unused since. The rims cost me £180.00 and the tyres were £280.00 when bought new. I am looking for around £275 if possible. I am based in Liverpool for collection but can post but I am guessing the shipping wouldn't be cheap as the 4 rims are separate to the 4 tyres! Thanks, Jonathan Advertiser Pigglesberg Date 01/10/21 Price £275 Category Wheels & Tyres Wheel Size R16 Tyre Season Winter Shipping Estimate £75
  2. Thanks for the replies! I'll speak to Skoda Finance and see what they say. I didn't realise that about needing the V5. Had a good look around the house last night and couldn't find it. I'll have another look later on but it's not looking good!
  3. Hi all, My Scout is due back next week after a 2 year lease but I can't find the spare key. I had it a few weeks ago but I think one of my kids has moved it and it could be anywhere! They have a tendency to put things in the bin to tidy up so god knows what's happened to it! Does anybody know how much a new key is? Or what the penalty is for returning it without a spare? Thanks, jonny
  4. Yeah it sounds like it could be you need MIB2. Mines a 2016 Scout so I presume that's what I've got?!
  5. Oh and you need to have the Amundsen updated to the latest maps. I didn't have it before the update so it must include it along with the maps.
  6. Exactly what Sneeks posted. In the paired devices section you need to tick the show notifications button. It wasn't ticked when I changed phones but once it was, the text message box came back. All good now! Thanks
  7. Hi all, This is not sort of a Skoda issue but I need your help! I changed my indicators and reverse lights to LED's in my Scout and they're great. My brother in law bought the same ones for his Toyota Hiace Van as they are the same fittings as my Scout. The issue is, when the hazards are on, the indicators are fine but when you do a standard left or right signal, they flash at about 100mph! Has anybody got any ideas? It's crazy how they are fine on hazard but not on standard turn signal. Thanks, jonny
  8. Evening all, My brother in law is replacing some bulbs in his car and wants to use LED's. It states W21W and WY21W. Does anybody know what the difference is between them?! Thanks, Jonny
  9. Thanks for the responses :) I don't have a dash cam or anything plugged in and I've been doing 40 mile round trips 4 days a week for the past few weeks so hopefully that's enough of a run with regards to charging battery etc. I'll keep an eye on it over next few days and if it does it again I'll take it straight to the dealers for them to have a look at. Thanks again, Jonathan
  10. Morning all, When I went to start my car this morning, it really struggled and took a long time to start. Car is only just coming to 12 months old (Scout 150 manual) and this has never happened before. Then when it started an error appeared saying check number plate light. Got out the car and nothing wrong with the bulbs! Stopped the engine and tried again, and the error disappeared. Anyone had anything like this before? I'm hoping it's just a random one off! Forgot to add, temperature was 5 degrees so not particularly cold. Thanks, Jonathan
  11. Always used winter tyres too. Yes we may not get that much snow but as said earlier, we get a lot of days below 7 degrees. I've just bought 4 x Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance 225/50/17 for £180 on a well known auction site. They're basically brand new. Couldn't believe I got them so cheap!
  12. I agree its ridiculous. I have ordered some silica bags to see if these help with it. I went and checked under the mats etc and it's bone dry so no leaks or anything I can see. Surely it's down to rubbish seals :(
  13. Thanks guys, I've ordered some silica gel bags so hopefully these will sort the issue out!
  14. So this morning I came out to the car after a fairly cold night (+1 degree) and when I got inside the front windscreen was soaked on the inside. The dash was wet from were the water had obviously ran down. Then when I looked further the rear screen was exactly the same! Now this is the second time this week this has happened and surely this can't be right?? It's wet to the point were I had to use a chamois to remove the water as there was so much. Anyone else had this issue? Is this a seal issue? Please tell me his isn't the Skoda norm and I have to chamois my car inside everyday through winter!
