Out of interest would the intake fit a diesel and would it make any difference?
-
Thanks guys, that's the vid I've seen.

I'm not doing it myself but just for assisting my dad who's doing it. Always worth doing some research I guess but thanks for your post.

Or should I research fitting to a mk6 golf?

Are there any how to guides for fitting springs on the MK3 VRS?
Is the same as fitting them to a mk7 Golf as these are the only guides I can find?

Cheers I wasnt sure how normal paint would hold up to the heat.

Anyone put Golf R Petoras wheels on and are they a straight fit?
-

Generic, the skoda ones fit fine with no issues.

I've done a few of the VXR days, they were such good value for money.

Worth a try.

I've got a vRS230 on order but I'm really not taken with the gloss-black 19"s, and apparently I can't downgrade to 18"s. Add to which I've got a long commute including some awful town roads, so if I can increase sidewall height and reduce unsprung weight I'll be making life a lot more comfortable...
I can't sell them as it's a lease car, but I am sorely tempted to dump the 19"s in the garage and buy some 18"s instead. Would like to stick with OEM wheels if possible, so was wondering if anyone had any data on which wheels were the lightest?
Thanks,
Martin.
Would you wanna swap, gloss black for the antheracite ones? I have the 19's but would love the gloss black version.

What paint protection you gone with? Are you talking film or wax type protection?
My new acquisition. Also my first Skoda, really pleased so far with the car. It's gone for an exterior valet and paint protection today and I will have her back on Saturday so will aim for some more piccies then.

Thanks I'll give them a shout

Oh cool they're not far from me in Milton Keynes.
Have you got his details as they could use mine. What were they looking to do?
This eBay one looks suspiciously similar to the Superskoda one.
I had the SuperSkoda one around this time last year (found the eBay one after I ordered) and I *quite* liked it, it fit nicely but didn't like the way the edges protruded from the front wheel arch, didn't look finished off.
I fixed the problem by smashing it to pieces on a low kerb and put the remaining bits in the bin
If you're in the area may be worth looking these guys up, they were after a guinea-pig to make an Octavia specific version;

I had an email conversation with Kev about providing a donor vehicle (I'm miles away).

I had the call on Friday offering me the vouchers, to be honest pretty happy with that and the fact they've acknowledged it's been a **** up on their part not to inform people and seriously underestimated the type of person who buys a model like a vRS, I've still made it clear I'd like to know why the change was made and why only the tdi, I actually don't care now what the reason is I'd just like the truth even if it's as simple as just a cost cutting exercise.
I think Im pretty much in the same boat. I didn't really want the vouchers though so asked for my first service to be paid for. They are willing to do that if you ask.

Only the oil burner, the petrol gets he 340mm.
Free service ain't too bad, that must be worth 180?
Think it's around £140

I hope he does read these post and see that people obviously communicate. Today I recieved a call from Nathan stating they physically will not be upgrading the brakes, skoda will not authorise it and yes I'm sure bigger brakes could be fitted to the cars but Ecu would also need re-programming.
They are offering £100 virgin activity vouchers or pay for your first service.

So has anyone had any decent responses from Skoda?
I think we're all waiting for the update from Skoda.
