  1. Thank you very much. I just turned off the sim lock on my mobile phone and that did the trick !

  4. I unpaired my phone and then paired it again but same problem exists i.e. I have to put in the pin mumber every time I start the car.

Hi there, Whilst I m pretty useless when it comes to modern technology , I have managed to pair my new Samsung S22 phone with the Columbus system but every time I start the engine I am asked to enter the phone pin number , which I can do either via the screen of the Columbus or via the small screen behind the steering wheel. I never had to do this with previous phones and I wonder if anyone here can help me to get over this problem, as it is a pain in the neck having to enter the pin number every time I start the car.
