New magazine which could be a great read for Skoda owners as there's not currently much out there for us. This first issue has a stunning tuned Octavia mk3. Untitled_20170609_173419_001(1).pdf Untitled_20170609_173459_001.pdf Untitled_20170609_172957_001.pdf

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear it's me and not the car! -

Mine does the same! Petrol vrs. I was wondering if the air con was failing to disengage but haven't had the time to take it back to dealer. -
Good idea. I've sent an email and if I don't hear anything I'll chase them up Monday

Thought it would be cool to paint the lettering on the bridgestones instead of doing something useful! I've tried to attach photos. Just a bit of fun and obviously makes it go faster, will wear off in due course Anyone else spent time detailing any items? I saw somewhere a chap coloured 3 of the front grill elements in the vrs colours which looked cool but subtle

Look forward to hearing how you get on Les Have fun!

Anyone tried this? Looks like a good alternative to a track day and no need to worry about thrashing or crashing your own car! Anyone else up for it? We could have a mini meet. http://www.thruxtonracing.co.uk/experiences/octavia

Hi Will Sorry for tormenting you. I pick mine up tomorrow race blue estate, canton, winter pack but didn't go for the black pack. What is your delivery estimate? Mine came a bit quicker than estimated

Thanks for the advice Gaz, good to hear someone is as particular about paint work as me. Where did you go for your detailing and what did you have done? Ceramic paint protection and film protection i have heard of. An idea of rough price would be interesting too. I know what you mean about the free wash when you take a car for a service. My run of the mill new focus had complimentary washes and it always bugged me as it seemed to pick up more swirl marks and scratches from this. It's funny, that think they are doing you a favour washing it but really you just want it left alone!

Hi Paul I was wondering about the prep and clean and whether to tell them to leave it alone, or whether I was being overly cautious. Surely they can't mess the paint work up in one clean? Do they typically end up putting swirl marks into the paint or something? So you went the whole hog and got a 230? Was it the upgraded diff or the bhp that tempted you?
