  1. Hi, from memory it was a blown light fixture in the boot. You will need to remove each light fixture one at a time to find out which one it is mate thanks

  5. Hi Guys, I'm having a few issues with my 2015 Octavia vrs diesel. Basically i turned the car on the other day and the engine management light came and wouldn't go off. The symbol looked like this - Car started fine and drove perfectly fine too. I have an OBD2 port scanner so reset the code as i did let the fuel go a little low and through maybe something had pulled into the engine etc. Was fine for a couple of days until this morning and the this light has come on again. Seems to be when starting the car from cold / left standing, i am waiting for the glow plugs light to go off before starting but somehow think its related to this. Fault Code on the OBD2 scanner stipulates - P0674 01/02 which i believe is a glowplug issue? Has anyone had this issue before or can shed a light on a fix or what the problem is please? Don't want to get ripped off by the dealer! Any help is appreciated guys Thanks Willo

  10. Haha, that’s brillaint! just wanting to see what’s a available in way of replacement and how it’s done? ive heard some of the Audi s line stuff fits straight in? anyone got anything on this?
  11. Hi, Currently had my octavia vrs for just over 3 now, really great car but there’s a couple of things on the build that really annoy me, namely the quality of the gear knob and hand brake lever. Both gear knob and lever are both are now sticky and have worn around the edges. It looks like some sort of bonded leather that is slowly wearing away, it looks and feels terrible on your hand. I’ve had the the gear knob changed via the dealer under warranty already but it seems to be going again in 3 years! I don’t want to swap for Skoda parts again so wondered if there are any after market quality parts I could swap these for? Also how difficult is it swap hand brake lever and gear knob? Is the gear knob a complete unit including gator? ive included the wear I’m talking about thanks
  12. Apparently the exhaust is out of alignment (slightly up) which causes this issue. The dealer shown me a photo with a hole in the back where it had burnt through the bumper! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Alright guys, looks like I've got to the bottom of the issue! Looks like a blew a diode on one of the boot lights (sparked slightly when I put the bulb in) The diode is one directional and I think with it blown it was sending the signal back! Ordered a new boot light fixture but without the bulb in - no issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
