I git it to work with Safari. Next problem: road names do not display on the map ...

I've successfully downloaded the update, and moved the data onto the SD card. All aspects of the update seem fine. BUT the street names and numbers (A14, M11, etc) are not displayed even though the boxes for such dat are displayed. The dashboard navigation does display the name of the street I'm driving along. So the data must be there, but not showing on the screen.

There are no guide marks on the headlight glass for accurately using standard adhesive headlight beam deflectors for continental driving. Any advice?

I'm using a Mac running OS X. Google Chrome and Safari both return "internal server error". I'll give it a shot on a PC tomorrow.

For several days (14 - 19 March 2016) I have been trying to download the latest Amundsen update from http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/ I am definitely entering the correct VIN. When I request "Find Updates" I always get the error message "An unexpected error. Please try again later." What is going on?

I have a Skoda Octavia Diesel Hatchback 1.6 TDI CR Elegance 5dr DSG purchased brand new from Vindis Cambridge, registered 31 05 2013. We've done 35,000 km in the UK and France, so making about 12,000 km a year. We're great fans of this car. It drives beautifully under all conditions we encounter. It's particularly good when we are at our property on the outskirts of Nice (Cote d'Azur, SE France) because the DSG is fantastic on steep grades (up to 15%) and narrow roads. No problems at all with the car. Maintained and serviced by Vindis ( 5* !) Will be making some posts to the forum in due course
