  1. Replacement OEM bits has fixed that problem, still have a Auto headlight fault warning. Headlights are still fully functional guess they will just be human controlled until the next service. Thanks everybody.
  2. Did you have to VCDS or add resistors? I'm not hugely bothered LED or OEM I just don't want the display moaning at me the whole time.
  3. 5N0943021B I think this is the standard replacement OEM part no? Can anybody confirm?
  4. Thanks will do, will get on to the stealership and see what they want for a couple of units.
  5. Thanks that's all great info! I was being sarcastic about the lights. :-) Would the resistors be placed elsewhere or could the be part of the unit? On first glance the loom doesn't seem to be touched.
  6. I have been getting a 'check your licence lights' warning for a couple of weeks but a mixture of weather and laziness has meant that I did nothing about it till now. The symptoms have been getting progressively worse and has now spread to the auto lights apparently being faulty. (My hope is that one is messing up the other). Went to have a look today and it seems the previous owner spec'd the special 'LED upgrade' units manufactured by that well known OEM supplier blueseatec. I don't see any product code on them so that I can just replace them and hope everything goes back to working. They look pretty fogged up and generally of pretty crap quality. If I just order OEM bulbs and lenses is it likely that I will need to get the car recoded? O and one of the securing clips pinged off and is now rattling around in the tailgate. Anybody have experience of trying to get the trim off (Power boot). What a pain in the arse.
  7. Car went in yesterday, they gave me a loaner and replaced both sides. Got it back today, no hassle, no nonsense and a 'health check' video which i thought was a nice touch. Very pleasantly surprised, they just won themselves a service in October and maybe even 4 new tyres.
  8. Car will be 3 years old in October and as such i am keen to make sure any problems that may be starting are taken care of while still under warranty. Boot has started to sag a little sometimes after the struts cut out and there is some weeping on them. I'm sure i read here (but cant now find) that there was some sort of recall on the struts. Has anybody got experience with the dealers on this? What they looked for to replace and how easy it was to get it done. The code on the struts is - 5E9 827 852 B O2S - U0333997/ -U0333810 Thanks
  9. I read somewhere that some brands have dpf friendly additives in the fuel. Interested to hear if anybody has info/evidence of this to try and calm my dpf paranoia. :-)
  10. On a related note, does the park assist work on 'head-in/back'in' spaces? I'm pretty sure that i saw something about it in the manual but generally forget to try it.
  11. This! I don't have a Vrs mode as such, 63 plate its just marked as 'sport' but I'm pretty certain it has the noise generator. Or I could be losing it.
  12. So i have 157 days or 12,500 miles till next service. I'm on fixed and it hasn't been reset, 2 minute job thanks for your help peoples.
