Hi ive just purchased a 2011 mk2 vrs octavia 2.0tdi cr170 which ive upgraded from my mk1 vrs 1.8t i was looking some advice firstly im in serious need for front and rear mudflaps and could someone point me in a good direction on a good service kit for this many thanks everyone 🙂

Hello everyone the gearbox is getting tired on my mk1 1.8t vrs and ive been looking for a replacement 02j eha but cant get any close to me i gan get an 02j evs from a1.8t gti mk4 golf has anyone fitted these that could give me some feedback as to how the gear ratios was is there much difference thanks all

Hi all im wondering is 1.9 tdi mk1 wishbones the same as vrs ones as euro car parts are charging 16 quid for a diesel one and 79 quid for the vrs

Thanks guys well i know when i remove the oil filler cap from the rocker cover for a second or so i feel as there is a fair bit of pressure coming out the oil and filter were changer frequently also

Hello everyone as the title says im having bother with my 05 mk1 vrs 1.8t AUQ ive serched so much for the cure for this but i cant seem to see any answers Car has 160,000 Unsure when /if turbo was ever done as i haven't got the car overly long ive done about 20,000 miles on it scince ive got it Car has a decat with standard back box for now and mapped to 212bhp apparently was told this from previous owner The problem im having is the car will puff blue smoke out on tickover only when warm eg coming to a set of traffic lights,and when i go to pull away there is a plume of blue smoke and the smell of burning oil is really strong has anyone came to the bottom of this as i cant seem to find an answer some say valve stem seals others say oil ring in turbo and others say theres got worse after decating i must say the outside of the turbo is a bit damp with oil but i think this could be because my rocker cover gasket is leaking a fair bit (need to get this fixed) anyone ever find the solution as its getting annoying any help is very much appreciated thanks

Has any one any info on these shocks seem to be cheap

Hi all ive been finding it quite hard to get info on this will b4 bilstien shocks work in my 05 mk1 vrs Octavia someone has said the droplink will not work with those any way around this or any recommendations ive already priced tps and are eye wateringly expensive £190+vat for front pair and for all is working out at £310 all in looking something cheaper

Could be a crankshaft sensor fault especially if it was throwing up an engine speed fault also temperature sensor worth having a look at

Hello everyone i have a very frustrating problem with mk1 vrs octavia 1.8t auq it keeps bringing on the p0420 code i have looked at the live data and the lamda controller reafing is going up and down lile a yo yo its reading -17% then goes up to -8% and if i hold a slight bit of throttle on it will sit at 0.00% the car is mapped and no cat any way to solve this handy than getting it mapped out has anyone got a catalytic converter forsale

See on ebay it says it fits the 180bhp AUQ but also says it fits the 1.9tdi ALH the reason i ask is i can get an as new full clutch kit for an ALH tdi for litterly nothing and wanted a cheapish fix for the vrs

Yea just thought they might work as on ebay it states that a new clutch kit fits 1.9tdi and 1.8t but thought id ask
