When i try to set the memory on my seat, I get the "Bong" noise but the seat won't accept the setting. it was OK when in October when i got the car but now it's driving me crazy.

Thanks for that Rainmaker. I see what your saying. Thought I'd broken it so I'll take your advice and not floor it so sharply. As you say, these cars go like stink without too much right pedal anyway. Cheers mate.

Running in done and dusted, ( cheers Rainmaker). Bit concerning, this. I went to pass a a line of three cars on an uphill dual carriageway , just off a roundabout. As I floored the throttle, there was a little lag and then a bang from the front of the car. The car then accelerated as per normal, e.g very quickly. Had a look underneath when I parked up but couldn't see anything amiss. Driving OK now with no noises. Strange eh? Any ideas?

As previous threads above (#93 + #95). Car was stuck in 2nd gear again this morning. I tapped the "Mode" button, the infotainment showed the car in "Normal" mode. I tapped the "Normal" icon on the screen and the car changed gears fine after that. Odd, or what? :(

Nice choice! I've gone from a 2013 Insignia 2.0 TDI Elite to a 2.0 TSI Se-L DSG Superb. It Knocks spots off the Insignia in every way. You won't be disappointed. :clap:

Driving in D. When I use the paddles to manually change and then go back to auto, it's stuck in second again. Switch off, wait ,restart and all is fine. It doesn't happen all the time, so booking it in will be problematic as it's one of the famous "intermittent faults". It's very frustrating, to say the least.

I've got the phantom PDC warnings too. It happens when I'm in traffic but, as you say RickTT, I'm nowhere near the in front or behind. Odd, isn't it. :(
