  1. So checked it over last night and discovered that it’s leaking. VW tech came this morning. Common fault apparently. The leak occurs between the water pump and the head. Big job taking the front off apparently. it’s been recovered in for the fix.
  2. Cheers, not worth getting the AA involved then? From what I can gather, it’s a sealed unit that shouldn’t be losing any coolant. I didn’t realise that G13 wasn’t just a VW group thing and that it was readily available at the service station. thanks
  3. Sods law isn’t it. My 245 is going back this week and it was due the 2nd service but I’ve been unable to book in. Then ŠKODA told me it’s fine they’ll take the car back without its 2nd service. This morning the bloody low coolant warning light has come on. It is indeed low. What to do now I have no idea! These things always happen on a Sunday.
