  6. Ex Mil here mate as my name suggest .. did the 7 click to heaven 12 months ago..
  7. On the principle that i'm not getting what I thought I ordered yes..
  8. Very disappointing... If I could afford to cancel my orderd I would..
  9. Hi all, when I get delivery of my vRS 4x4 will be looking soon after to lower it what springs are on the market for it ? Would 5door A3 Quattro or Golf 4Motion springs suit ? Any help would be great thanks
  10. I'm currently in comunictions with Skoda UK.. They are unaware of such a change to the car had have launched an internal investigation and will contact me with any developments.. Will keep you all posted
  11. surfactant or not your not getting what you thought you was getting.. the 312 will do the job just fine but under consistent harsh braking they will be susceptible to brake fade a lot more than the 340's.. and also resale value will be hit.. when it comes down to it if you was buying a used vRS both had the same spec and milage but one had 340's and the other 312's which one would you go for ? Skoda should have put this has an optional extra like they do on the GTD & FR not just take it away completely.. I for one am very disappointed.. the fake exhaust tip was bad enough and now this! if i had found this out earlier then I defiantly wouldn't of have ordered the the vRS 4x4 and got the A3 5door Quattro...
  12. vRS TDi 16 Plate with 340's http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/skoda/octavia/skoda-octavia-estate-5-dr-2-0-tdi-cr-vrs-184bhp-dsg/5375083?v=b
  13. Just got of the phone to my dealer.. They are not aware of any change on the size.. But they did say that in the small print of the broacher that Skoda reserve the right to change specification where that's and up grade or down grade with out prior notice.. Then he went on to say if the brakes have been down graded then they will be fit for purpose.. But as you said that's beyond the point.. there seems to be a miss match i've seen 16 plates with 340's man and DSG platforms and some with 312
  14. After further digging it seems that the brake size have indeed been made smaller.. everything before 2016 plate has 340 and early 2016 models have 340 but 16 plate cars have gone down to a 312 on the TDi's
