I quite like the seats especially being the 'sports seats' but I had to have a red car otherwise it does look odd I've even got used to the red centre console.

Actually I think I have came across this link before, massive fan of supersprint but £650 for a back box is ridiculous

plus no pano roof, smoked projector headlights or LED DRLs
I was going to mention that but he might have a model with the darker headlights.. such as the SE L and colour edition. and tbh id rather not have the pano roof, I can imagine it adds some weight! But my little boy loves it
We could also mention the MC has the sports seats as standard along with all the other no cost extras
It was a MC or nothing for me. I've came from a golf gti and golf r32 so i had to have something with a sporty edge even if it has a 1.2 engine to make it bearable!

You're looking at 1,735 euros for front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, spoiler, wing mirrors, grille and wheels. I'm glad i just bought monte carlo!

thanks for the links, id love to find a sports cat/de-cat downpipe and a decent exhaust sytem. Seen some ebay specials but not overly sure on them
I'd also like to see some brake upgrades.. Im assuming audi s1 brakes would be straight fitment

you would really think after this many problems they'd make sure they did a good job
-
i think it may only be Monte Carlos that come with them. My MC is a 16 plate

Bit late to the party, Ive had one on my drive for 8 months lol

So this morning I was looking out the window trying to figure out whose car alarm was going off. Turned out it was mine! I had only just moved it from the road on to the driveway. I didn't think it was mine as the indicators weren't flashing.
Tried to unlock the car with my key..didn't work... spare key also didn't work. Alarm kept stopping and starting, called up Skoda assistance and they're sending out someone from VW between 4-6pm. I could've had the AA come out sooner but as the alarm has stopped going off I'd rather wait.
Any one else had this issue? My car is a 16 plate Fabia Monte Carlo estate.

Was also looking at the dump valve kit as an option! Didn't know about the power loss though, how might that be?
I was emailing awesomegti a few months back and their response was
"In all honesty, these engines are good to go. We wouldn’t recommend messing around with the dump valve on these as they don’t seem to help in any way – If anything slightly reduce the power at the lower end between gears.
The induction kits don’t really do a great deal more than making a bit of extra noise on these ones too" -
+1 on wanting to hear it. Before I bought my monte i was looking at the forge dump valve and induction kit before getting a remap. But with some investigation the dump valve may result in a power loss

Interesting...
How much did they charge if you don't mind?
Probably a lot more than the £170 it cost as an extra
-
I was sceptical amount Racechip but after seeing them on Shmee150's youtube channel I'm more likely to get one, I'd probably just get the cheapest box which gives about 21bhp, which is about 100 euros cheaper than the 2 box which gives 28bhp, i think ill do without the extra 7bhp and save 100 euros
-
I wouldn't even worry about it. My excess mileage charge is about 4p... over 3k miles that would come out at £120

I bought a Fabia DSG SEL and got within three weeks,it is good wee car but to get the best out of it you've got to make sure you keep the mileage up or it drains the battery. This is due to all the technology used on the car, this is what Skoda told me,also at the first year service the service report showed that the back discs were scored and defaced they said this was because of the low mileage the car had done in the year which was 2642.
Good luck
surely that was from stock or one that was ordered but had no owner??

my fabia estate monte carlo took 2.5 months, apparantly it was delayed due to it being the first My17 monte estate to be made so had to go through extra checks
-
My car is due its first service soon, I was told I got 2 free services with the car. I rang up and queried it a few weeks ago for them to confirm and they said i get my first (minor) and second (major) services for free. So I should only have to pay for the 3rd (30,000 miles) service which hopefully will only be a minor, if I take the car back early which is what I'm planning on doing, but I'll be over mileage so ill get charged around £230 for that. They might waiver it if i sign up to another skoda

And the rear bumper is the same as a non-monte carlo bumper. The monte carlo just has a stick on diffuser which doesn't alter the shape of the bumper where the flaps fit
-
I just think its amazing people go to the dealership for a tyre, generally so much cheaper to get one ordered from camskill and get it fitted yourself

that is low mileage my first service is coming up fast the 10,000 miles has come rather too soon! the car will only be 7/8 months old
-
Out of interest what tyres came on your fabia? my monte estate with standard 16" wheels came with Bridgestone Turenza er300
-
You don't necessarily have to have a 87H tyre, the majority of tyres come with a higher speed rating than a H which isn't a bad thing
-
As above my monte came with them, annoyingly ive damaged one of them :(

Please don't tell me you paid nearly £100 to swap a headlight
