Has anyone fitted a no shroud water pump to the tdi engine? If so, what was the part number of the pump you used? How did you go about stopping fault codes / engine lights and what did you do with the redundant electrical connector?

Have any members carried out a cam belt replacement on a diesel mk3 Octavia VRS themselves? If so, how difficult would it be for a driveway DIY'er to do and what advice could you provide. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The water pump failed on my 2014/64 VRS TDI in January 2019. It was replaced with a genuine VAG part, which I was told to be a later version pump with part number 04L 121 011L. Today the car has suffered another round of the overheating dance. Does anyone else have experience of this particular pump and suffering a further failure?

The rear washer of my 2014 Octavia VRS hatch has stopped working. It is not the jet as I have removed that and no water comes out of the feed pipe. I have put a wire down the feed pipe to see if there is an dirt in it. The washer pump operates, but there is no sign of any water anywhere under the car or inside the car. This is driving me mad. Help please !!!
