Could you say where is the sound coming from? Front/Rear? Left/Right? Engine/Wheel? Is there any wobbling in steering wheel or car itself?

 

And a wheel bearing could be the case. I've had one earlier with similar problem but can't know for sure until I've heard it.

Not long ago I bought a used Skoda Octavia 1.9TDI. It needs some fixing, but I'm happy cuz I like to do it myself an hope to find some good advice here!
