Thanks everyone. I’ll get her to try with the start/stop off and see if the other issues go. I’ll get the battery checked and replaced if needed. I have a code reader so will plug that into the OBD2 and check the codes when she next visits me. Changing the battery in a start/stop isn’t as straightforward as a simple battery change was years ago. Does the new one need coded in or similar?

I did notice that the engine management light seemed to temporarily come on at the same time as the error.

The start stop system in my daughter’s 2020 Kamiq keeps failing and then coming back on. When failed the attached screen has a pixel error over the front headlamp area. When the start stop is working again this disappears. Anyone ever experienced this and know how to solve. Or is it back to the Skoda garage with it (or just forget it).
