2006 Petrol 2'0 Octavia VRS not starting
GrahamJH replied to GrahamJH's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Yeah the fuse is 27 in the cabin and my owners manual says it's the fuel pump relay. The relay I thought/think it is/was is under the bonnet. Unless of course, that's not the actual relay... Thanks for replying -

Update: I located the fuse for the fuel pump relay. It's blown. Tried another fuse in without the relay in and it blew straight away. Any ideas and if there is anything else on the same circuit? Regards, Graham. -
Hello All, I require some help please. My car suddenly wouldn't start yesterday afternoon after using the car in the morning. I have scanned with a basic scanner and it shows no codes. I can't hear the fuel pump at all and am wondering if I have a relay issue? I think I have located the correct relay (4pin marked 191 906 383C). When switching the ignition on, should the contacts go together or only when cranking? Just with ignition on the contacts are apart. I'm also wondering which fuse if any controls this also? The hand book says inside the cabin fuse 27 but, my car dos not have a fuse that I can see... Any help is very much appreciated. Graham.

Rear Wiper Wiring Octavia mk2 2006
GrahamJH replied to GrahamJH's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Yeah exactly that again and yes a hatchback model... The old motor which was a new one approx 18/24 months ago had been playing up for a while. Was kind of jerky in its operation and getting stuck in certain positions etc. I have just fitted another new one now and seems nice and smooth for now... Thanks👍 -
Hi All. Does anybody on here know the wiring diagram for the rear wiper on the mk2 2006 octavias? Thanks in advance G.

I have ordered a new genuine pedal from my local dealer today. Thanks for your reply 👍
-
Hello. I thought that would be the case. The reason I mentioned the complete pedal was because I was advised that would be easier. I have already purchased a new Hella pedal but it isn't correct. It looks like it's for a left hand drive car. Unfortunately there was no mention of that though..... Thanks for replying 👍

Hello, Yeah it is to high! No smoke that I have seen. Oil level is fine to. It was changing on its own... I don't have a scanner Thanks -
Hi All, My car has started to have fluctuating idle speed this morning. It ranges from 1500 to 3000 rpm at times. Could this be to the colder weather or something else? Engine temperature gauge was between 1/4 & 1/2 way. Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Yes I hope so. Am in the process of trying to get it looked at with the garage where I purchased the car from...... The only problem with that is they're not on my doorstep so to speak. They replaced the compressor towards the end of last year. Hopefully this time it will get sorted.
