  1. I am looking for a wiring diagram, mainly with the layout for the kessy system, looking to identify all the connections involved with the starting. I enter my car, the dash states - welcome - but when I press the start button, The ignition does not come on. I have checked all of the fuses, but nothing blown. I was thinking that I should start working backwards from the start button and see if there is a place of no power ??? obviously I cannot do a diagnostic as the ignition will not come on.
  2. Is there anyone close to Barnsley that can set the Long Coding on my 2013 skoda fabia to remove the light from the dashboard.
  3. Hi, I removed the indicator stalks from a fabia 2, I purchased and fitted onto mine.. which is also a fabia 2. Thinking it would be that simple to put cruise control onto my car. Obviously it didnt work. However somehow I have now managed to have the ABS lights on, on both of the cars. I seem that I have lost the Long Coding on the ABS Module... I dont know what I did for this to occur. My friend who has a ross-tech lead came and got this info, he along with me are a bit useless at anything like this. How do I remedy the faults on both cars ??? Regards Richard.
  4. I replaced both speed's back into the corresponding cars. Both now start. I have ordered the vag commander to try upon its arrival. But my main car is showing an ABS LIGHT along with codes 0887 & 0883, I seem unable to delete the codes with ross tech. Unsure how to proceed.
  5. I do have vagcom, never really used it except for identifying & clearing faults. Is it straightforward? Or is it difficult to navigate through the system ? Where would I find the said PIN ??
  6. Thank You for Your response. How would I overcome the immobiliser that is in the pod ??

  8. I drive 2013 1.6 faia, base model,I have wanted cruise control for quite a while. So I bought a 2011 fabia elegance to poach the stalks. Upon getting the car I also have decided to swap speedo's as prefer the idea of having a proper temperature gauge and took the armrest. Today I fitted ALL of the above. However, neither will start both saying immobilised. What could be the problem? Also what do I require to conclude the Cruise Control retrofit ??
  9. I am Using a Haynes Manual, trying to sort an issue, I am having with The Brakes / ABS. In the Blue book page 12 * 37. This is the relevant wiring diagram. I am trying to identify .. The Current Supply Relay. That is shown on the Circuit.. It has 5 Wires Connected to it. Has anyone have an Idea what it Looks like ??????????????????????????????????????????? Or identify where it is Under dash ...under bonnet...where.. ????????????????????????????????????????????
  10. I never knew that the 1.6 could take that much power. I have been so impressed with every 130bhp 1.9 tdi vehicle that I have had... No reliability issues to mention... Yet you hear so many problems from the 1.6 & 2.0 Engines that I have stuck with what I know works.
  11. Hi all, I have got myself into a right old pickle.... First of all I would like to explain..... A couple of years ago, I fitted an ASZ 130 Bhp Engine & box into a 2008 skoda fabia that was as standard a 1.4 tdi... And all went swimmingly......NOT But it was just a little patience required... It was only 1 wire if I remember correctly...Which I remedied by just fitting a piggy back fuse in the fusebox. However Last year I bought a 2013 1.6 tdi ( Engine ) Which I have actuallyremoved, fitted the 1.9 130 Bhp ASZ engine, along with replacing the front subframe from a MK1 vrs. I kind of attempted to decipher the pin codes on ... AUTODATA ... & I switched around the pins to suit the pin outs for 1.9.... As I had deemed Correct. But Alas The Car actually starts & drives, Mainly I have an issue with the fact that the has no boost & an engine management light on. SO I have been out & stripped the wiring out of another 1.4 tdi from the engine bay to the fusebox along with all the associated plugs to the comfort module. & the central locking module. I Honestly was under the impression that I could just find the relevant Pins at the module etc and just swap the 1 attached to the loom for the originals in the car as & where required. But it also appears that the comfort modules are different ...with different plugs. SO In Short..... Does ANYONE have Access to any kind of literature that would enable me to identify where to locate these wires on the Loom... ????? Any advise would be much appreciated..
