And if they have to "work like hell" then life expectancy will decrease. I've heard of Fiesta EcoBoosts getting new engines at 4 years old. It wasn't a one-off either - the dealer had 4 in at once waiting on new engines. -

Should be a £1000 fine, confiscation of the phone and a 6 month ban minimum. Using the phone is a deliberate act and not an accident or mis-judgement. -

Are you sure he even had lights on? If he was driving with DRLs only then there would be no rear lights illuminated - another stupid modern design feature failure. -
Just because you have a new 66 plate Yeti does not give you the right to stay in the outside lane when I'm going a wee bit faster than you. Use your mirrors and the inside lane

I've just fitted a pair of Osram Night Breaker Unlimited headlight bulbs and was amazed how easy they were to fit especially as it's such a small engine compartment. Loads of room to get hands in. Must be one of the easiest modern cars to fit bulbs to.

Mrs ScotsDave has just purchased a 2013 Citigo Elegance GreenTech 75PS. Looking forward to adding some bits'n'pieces with help from the forum.

I used self adhesive felt from Hobbycraft to line the centre cubby and glovebox in my MX5. Easy job and one of the best value things I did to it.
