  1. I'd have to get the paperwork out but it can't be much over 5,000 to 8,000. Mostly motorway & A road miles. It had an oil change "inspection service" last year. Now the car says "inspection" due in x days. Then, looking in the main display it says "inspection" due in x days or 12500 miles and (something like ) oil service due in 380 odd days or 12500 miles. So now I've delved deeper its not wanting its oil changed, just looking at. It's now over three years old so the warranty will have expired. It passed an MOT! As I say, it's a lease car and going back next year. I'm not going to spend 'just in case' or as if it were a car I was planning to keep for a couple more years. (sorry for delayed reply, must turn alerts on...)
  2. Sorry, should have posted in Mk 3 sub forum. If it matters!
  3. Car on PCH with variable service. Serviced last December at 24 months as expected. When's the next service due? I'd thought at 48 months providing I'm driving nicely. Car says it wants a service in December. (My previous PCH cars have been on 24 month contracts and I've not had to service. This one is on a 36 month deal and I only expected one service. I've got a Covid extension for another year and I thought I'd only need an MOT and get away without a second service.)
  4. I think I sussed this. If you go to Skoda and build your own spec car you can see how the different numbers for the same model work. A stock car may be 119 g but add a spare wheel and you'll also add a couple of grams. Make sense, more weight, more fuel, more CO2. I need to know before I lease! Adding a gram can add a fiver to the monthly VAT due on fuel.
  5. If I look at the specs for an Octavia SE Tech, Skoda says it emits "119 - 138" g per km. So which is it, 119 or 138. Its important because the Fuel Scale Charges for VAT are quite different for 119 and 138. For fuel economy its 53.3 - 43.3 mpg. Back in the dayz before WLTP there were three figures, urban, something else and combined. Take your pick. But which number do I choose now? (Yes, I know, not real figures, but they are a basis to start from.)
