I am inclined to walk away for other reasons also. Mainly 'due to covid' excuse, they will not let you drive their cars but instead you have 24hrs to return the car. BUT you don't get your money or your part ex back, you have to choose another car !!!! Doesn't sit well with me. Dealership is Ron Skinnerr BTW. Don't get me wrong it's a nice car and cheap but if it's not right I don't want to pick another car from their fleet that I don't want just because. Oh and it's got a dent the size of your fist in the N S sill below the B pillar.

That's great many thanks for going to the trouble. The sills do appear to be the same but the wing definitely isn't. Also primer is on view on the inner wing just in front of your strut mount, just as it rolls over towards the outer wing. Think I'll be walking away from this one.

Hi I am looking at a 2017 VRS diesel in a local dealership and was concerned by the amount of underseal for want of a better word on the sills of the car. This stuff looks to be around 4mm thick ?? Is this correct? Also at the very front of the wings under the bonnet they seem to have run out of body coloured paint and there is primer showing ?? I've had many VW group cars over the years including my current vehicle and this just doesn't look right to me, or is this a Skoda thing? Thanks
