Thanks Micloi Its now sorted,I took the chip completely out and started from scratch careful to follow the instructions to the letter its now working perfectly....thanks to all for your help

As stated in the last post there are no rotary knobs inside my tuning box so I cannot adjust it the box was bought from Haz motorsport who is a certified retailer for Racechip in the uk also as its the ultimate with the app when you connect it it tells you that it is for a Skoda Superb 280 so it is the right one ..engine light still on and it takes the car longer to start

Thanks Linni took your advice and tried to fine tune the box but when I opened it there were no adjusters there I sent an e mail to racechip customer services but have heard nothing and as the enginemanagement light is still on and also ERROR STOP START FAILURE all thevery second the chip was connected I am really disappointed as its sold as a plug and play box ......any answers greatly appreciated

Hi guys finally got the chip installed and am happy with the performance only problem is that the engine management light wont go out .....any suggestions other than going to my nearest Skoda dealer which is not an option

Thanks as I bought the box new from a third party website and not directly from Racechip I didnt get an email with instructions,and yes it is the one with bluetooth.....thanks for all your help it is much appreciated I will install today

Hi guys sorry to be a pain again but read the installation guide for the race chip ultimate just now as I was thinking of fitting it tomorrow but mowhere does it mention jacking up the car and removing any part to connect a cable ...now wondering if this is the wrong box any help or ideas greatly appreciated

Thanks Brenticles ,why have you disconnected the racechip is there a reason.I think the more I read the more concerned I am and at the minute seriously considering not installing it at all even after spending £400

Thanks Billy Jim for your reply firstly did you have any problems with the engine management light coming on as this is something they say can happen and secondly any chance of some photos of what goes where and so on if not thanks for your reply

as boxes are un detectable and remaps arent I thought the chip was the better option ......why is the remap better

hi anyone ever fitted the racechip for the 280 4x4 if so is it possible for me to fit it myself or is it a professional job any help appreciated as i am not mechanically minded ..and are the results worth it thanks all

I think that all things considered I have been very lucky to have recieved the car in such a short delivery time and built to my spec absolutely brilliant car by the way...my last new Skoda was in the early 80s and cost just £2300 they sure have come a long way

The Broker was Versus Vehicle Management in Kidderminster and was on the ball as soon as the £1000 deposit was paid. My local dealer here in Northern Ireland quoted £39000 and a much longer wait the price I paid was £31885 it was a no brainer
