I've spent some time today playing around with the fob. Here's an update. Could this be anything? If I lock the car with the key I can see the little red flickering light just inside the glass If I lock the car with 1 click of the fob I can see the little red flickering light just inside the glass If I lock the car with 2 clicks of the fob I do not see the little red flickering light just inside the glass - this is how I've always locked my car and until today I've never noticed that there isn't a red flickering light

My alarm has started to go off over the past week for no apparent reason, only happens at night or the early hours of the morning and wakes me up which is frustrating to say the least. What could be causing this?

130k miles, what else should I keep an eye on?

add the camshaft to this list -
For each of my services Skoda have used 'Castrol EDGE LL111 5' this is as it appears on my invoices. Does anyone have any idea what exact oil this is? They will not tell me the name! Thank you

Yes please, thank you. although I won't be needing cambelt and pump changed as they're fairly new!

this is the same noise that I'm getting

A garage I have used previously twice before for relatively big jobs. I'm not sure how they know that it's the camshaft, should I have major symptoms? Car shudders a lot when I accelerate. Sounds like it's misfiring on idle as well...

Slightly. Took it in and they told me it's the camshaft!!
