  1. The rear dome lights (first picture) are 36mm festoon, all other are t10 / w5w / 501.
  2. Took a little tour with the camera this evening as well!
  3. Thanks! H&R Springs, the car has all the options available when I ordered it and that includes DCC, so coilovers was sadly never an option. 4x4 is fun in the winter, but because the throttleresponse and some other things are electronically "smoothed out" the car don't react quite the way you want it to in all situations. That means that my old Passat R36 is much more entertaining in the snow
  4. Unfortunatly not, pulling it back to D again also puts the throttle back to "normal" since those are linked together. Atleast on my Pre-facelift 2017.
  5. I'd love to have a mode that is sport on everything except the shiftpoints, but sadly the shiftpoints are decided by the same setting that changes the throttle response. The "Linear throttle" VCDS-mod made it a bit better, but I still have moments when I try to accelerate out of a roundabout or corner and nothing happens for a short moment. I know that a pedal box fixes this problem, but why is such a thing needed on all new VAG's to make them driveable? I had an Audi S7 a few years ago and that thing was if possible even slower to react on throttle input then the Octavia in normal driving mode, and sportmode of course made the car cruise along at 3500-4000k rpm. I did also testdrive a few Passats and Golfs before i decided to buy my vRS, and same problem with them. On the other hand I've also owned some cars outside of VAG lately (Two MB w212's, E220d and E63-AMG and also a Maserati Quattroporte) And none of them had throttle response issues. Sure, there was less pedal movement needed in sportmode, but the response times were instant in all driving modes... It's a shame VAG can't make cars like that anymore because my 2008 Passat R36 is waaaay quicker to respond than any new VAG I've tried!
  6. You need to change the coding you did for the US-blinkers from low beam (Abblendlicht) to parking lights (Can't remember the name, but its pretty obvious which it is) , and for the DRL's you could either just increase the dimming from the 35% (I think it is as standard) to 100%, or create a new function where they go to 100% as fog lights.
  7. To bad that the VAG-version is terrible... Both my 2013 Audi S7 and now my 2017 Octavia vRS felt like a huge leep down from the "distronic plus" I had on my 2010(!) Mercedes E63... As far as other options go I personally did spec everything available when ordering mine and don't regret it a bit. Maybe i would skip the park-assist and the DCC if I had to order a new one today but that's about it. Weird if the FL doesn't have a leather seat option BTW, in the Pre FL it was a part of the premium package along with rear-camera and other must-haves!
  8. Same as rear unfortunately, turns on with the "P<-Button" or when selecting reverse and turns off at about 20 Kph.
  9. I know this is the superb forums, but I have fitted H&R 40/40 springs to my Octavia Mk3 vRS with DCC, and so far so good! It really transformed the car and the DCC settings make even more of a change now. With the original springs it was a little bit softer in Comfort and a little bit stiffer in sport, but now it feels like a totally different car depending on which setting it is set in!
  10. Afaik there is only one type of headlights on the vRS, and they change automaticly from LHD to RHD based on GPS or a setting in the Car/Lights menu... no need to change to whole unit!
