The pedal in the car is just sloppy just goes straight to the floor and the fluid is under the engine on the floor were the gear box fits on the engine

Is it a DIY fix or a garage job

Hi so I have a 2010 octavia scout The clutch pedal goes straight to the floor and there is a pool of fluid on the the floor So I assume the clutch has gone can this be easy done diy type or is it a garage job

The piston isn't to bad and there was no leaking it was sticking there is a slight ring around the piston ovs we're it must ov been sticking The piston boot was split so I have pulled that out thats wy I bought this kit Now don't have a boot replacement But the seal was good around the piston was ok

Hi I have skoda octavia scout 2010 Calliper needs replacing so I thought I would buy a piston repair kit 38mm Put in my car details a kit come up on amazon bought it but rubber boot that goes over the piston has a small steel ring in it the original one. The replacement I have does not have a ring in it and is 4mm smaller in diameter than the original So will not be a tight fit in the housing Any one else had this issue looks like I might have to buy the whole unit to be sure

It is a solid unit thats wy I thought it would be ok for a straight swop cheers

Hi I have a 2010 skoda scout tdi estate I have just replaced both rear bottom suspension arms the ones that hold the spring in place springs are about 6 moths old I also replace the 2 special bolts and nuts and washers Now when I get bit speed say 40mph its like the back end is going to fish tail out on me very swayey when I hit a bump jesus it looses its self and some corners I have gone around the back wheels have lost traction on tbe Road what am I missing or what is the issue

Hi all I have a 2010 scout 2.0pd Every time I change gear at about 15000 revs driving normal car splutters and Jerks then is fine I sit about 70 to 75mph and splutters on like a spark plug has gone But if I drive it hard when changing gear cant feel it as much We have a small fault finder it says heater plug out but its said that for a long time and car starts fine Any thoughts thanks

I have a 2010 skoda scout 2.0tdi the cam shaft is worn so I am thinking of replacing it but I dont want to move the timeing side of things also dont have a vcd to fine tune the timeing so is there a way I can just do a straight cam swap and keep the timeing side fixed any vids or advice thanks

No pal this is definitely in the engine It is as if there someone under the bonnet smacking the engine with a lump hammer it is bad

So today start car fine go to drive away sounded very rattley and slight loss of power 5 or 6 seconds later it's fine Drove 10 miles to my destination stopped car then restarted it and a almighty banging on acceleration through every gear and get to 40mph feels like the engine guna jump out It's a skoda 2010 2.0 tdi pd scout It sounds like a motor bike on tick over pop pop pop through the air filter so I took the housing off and sounds like bad Harley Davidson really loud popping

Mate yes what a ball ache 9f a job that you have to kind of pull it out bend twist thats probs the most pain inn the arse jobs iv done I did suspend the full unit up rite to do it was well hard

Anyway iv got 5 bearings in cant get the last one in with 5 bearings in its solid I can't get the 6th one in

T6Finally got it out but now iv gotv6 bearings loose and can I tell get it all back in as the split pin is on the inside

Can't find any snap rings at all hate scouts lol
