So in other words, if I change the RHF wing, it'll be okay again (granted if I switch out the bumper as well, since as you can see it is bent a bit too)?

I was aware of the damage since the accident, I just didn't do much about it except get my wheels aligned. Car goes just fine, only real "problem" is if I let go of the steering wheel, it will after a short while go towards the right. And it only bothers me because the bonnet doesn't align perfectly. Thanks for the official dimensions, that'll come in handy! Also, I included some pictures, you can see how the left side aligns compared to how the right side aligns.

My panel gaps are uneven. Left side is normal, nice and tight, while right side has an increased gap. The bonnet closes properly. My right headlight did get the plastic smashed (the one around the headlight itself) and the indicator smashed. By strut tops, you mean to measure where the suspension is? Is there possibly to find these measurements online, so I don't have to measure on someone else's car? I will see to get some pictures tomorrow (now it's cloudy and somewhat dark).

My bonnet sorta sticks up a bit on the right side. But the bonnet itself is straight. So I am wondering if it is the frame that's bent (the forward right panel looks fine, but somehow fits "loose" and has a cm or two clearance from the door and bonnet). So how would I go on about troubleshooting and eventually straightening the frame? I can't really mount the new grille or a new front bumper without straightening it. Some background: I did wind up in a ditch some months ago and hit my front right side. Thanks in advance.

I will look at that. I might hav been in Mode 1, but I also did cycle through time and ambient temperature. So I'm not sure which mode I am in. Since I didn't mess with the reset button. I just clicked the rocker switch to cycle through those things.

It did have a rocker switch, and i could switch between instant fuel consumption (l/100 km when moving, l/h when in idle or reverse) and average fuel consumption. There was also some other things (possibly range? It was a symbol of a fuel pump and it said "700" underneath). I only tapped the reset button, didn't see it do anything, didn't want to hold it in. Thank you for your answer. So from what I can deduce the car can show the fuel consumption even if that wasn't built into the dash by default. You've renewed my hope. Thank you again.

That'd be great if mine was an elegance or L&K. Mine is the Ambiente. Can I somehow get that info on that one?

I am looking at these OBD2 HUD (Heads Up Displays) on Ebay and I wonder if the fuel consumption (L/100 km) works on the MK1? Can you get the fuel consumption info through the OBD2 port on a 2001 Octy?

Are the emblem badges the same throughout the generations? I see on Ebay emblem badges advertised as fitting Octavias 1999-2015 or so. I need a new badge in the front, and I'd like the black and chrome version isntead of the "traditional" green and chrome. Do they make those for the MK1 Octy's? And how hard is it to change the emblem on the boot lid? Because the one on the boot lid is green, and if I go chrome on the front one I should obviously change the rear one. Any help is much appreciated in advance.

I need a new bumper and grill assembly for my 2001 Skoda Octavia (facelift), so I found a Skoda Octavia XL that is being sold in parts, and I wonder would its grill and bumper fit my Octavia?

Sorry I don't know how to edit my post, but what I am asking is what's the part number for the right signal indicator.

So this happened today, I slid out and went into a ditch and need a bit help on knowing what new parts I need. And where I can get them cheaply. I know i need a new grill and right blinker (it works but it is exposed). Just what about the bumper? I know, I should have cleaned it up a bit but ithappened today and I didn't get the time to.

I went over to winter wheels and no more issue with steering wheel vibration, gunned her to 140 km/h... no vibrations. So I guess the wheels were unbalanced.

Can't wait Also, is it bad if you have too much power steering fluid? I accidentally filled a bit much and don't know how to get the excess out :/
