Hi - amber oil level warning blinking occasionally on my 10 plate Yeti. Dipstick showing minimum level (i.e. just off the hatched area). Mrs E is picking up a bottle of Castrol Edge Long Life as we speak.. Question is, how much should I put in as a top up ? I'm thinking 0.5 litres ? (Car was serviced last April - so needs to make it to next!). Or just do a bit and keep checking the dipstick ? G

In case anyone is googling this as a solution - the replacement "high performance" bulbs (night breakers) both went at the same time ! My initial thought was a switch problem, but main beam was fine...

Yuasa are usually recommended as the best. Fitted one to my 8 year old Yeti - made a big difference.

Hi all, my 2010 1.2tsi elegance has an issue with the climate control. unless the heat is pretty much on maximum (red) no heat comes out of the face level vents, instead cold air only. Seems to be some heat in the footwell though. with the onset on winter, I would like to get this resolved. before a trip to the dealers, any advice on what it might be / potential cost ? (as an aside, it can smell "petrol-ey" in the car sometimes - could this be linked ? (car always passes its MOT emissions). Thanks in advance, Giles.
