  1. You mean the thing that covered the access hole the get the lock out? http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2009/drive_standart/608/hg_ug/831/subcategory/831010/part_id/2544688/lang/e#sec_15 Never seen anyone rip it off. Its easier to cut a "access door" into it and tape it close, when finished.
  2. Yeah, had similar issues, recently: windows rolled down randomly, wipers and turn signals didnt work properly, lost power to dash. Replaced the convenience module and all was fixed.
  3. Also there are multiple revisions of the the same lock: for exaple for 5N1837015C, there are also older 5N1837015A and newest 5N1837015E. There is no difference with them it is the same lock. Most aftermarket locks should tell they are replacement for all 3. Original locks are stupidly expensive though and not really worth that money.
  4. It is an option. It is called "Light and rain assistant". It is "combo unit", all in rear view mirror: rain sensor, light sensor, auto dimming mirror. If you are missing this mirror, it cant be activated.
  5. Its a 6 year old car, most cars have these one time "problems", where some expensive things needs to be fixed. It is unlikely you need to spend that much from now on all the time if you take care of the car. This is the thing you have to take account when buying a car that has done low km, most likely previous owner hasn't reached a point where theses things need changing. Fabia engines can to triple what your car has done. Thing to obviously consider is if you are not using the car a lot, that the low km suggests, the price may seem much because you are not getting your moneys worth from the car. Personally i would only replace it if the km stays low but the repair costs keep going up, at this point unless you want a project car, its not worth having. My 2012 1.2tsi Monte has done 130000 km and purrs like a kitten, only thing actually broken, this year the ignition coil pack ended its life and that is all. Most of the stuff done yearly other then the regular service are small things.
  6. Monte has same Foglight + DRL unit as the regular, same bumper same lights. Only vrs has the round led DRLs (or fog lights). Its a BA15S P21W bulb The plastic part isnt hardest to pull out if you press and pull like this:
  7. The comment was not about your tyres.
  8. These Savio-s, not Gigaro Are you sure 15" and not 16", because stock MC wheels are 16" Italia-s 🤨
  9. Panoramic roof is not standard anymore, instead you get black "color concept" roof on hatchback, like with mk2. Plus climatronic and 6 speakers, that were not included with pre facelift (also i think pre facelift did not have electric rear windows as standard) fatter low profile, bigger brakes, lower suspension - These were never a standard, same brakes and tyre sizes as regular fabia. 15mm lower "sport suspension" only if you ordered with that option.
  10. You can "officially" fit a tow bar, you just cant legally tow anything (on public roads), you can use it to hold the bike carrier though. Only reason VRS and Monte Carlo can not tow legally is Skoda was lazy to fill in the paperwork. Mechanically there is nothing different and you can install any tow bar that fits the regular Fabia.
  11. Im surprised that dealers do not know that: Headlight washers = bigger bottle + warning No headlight washers = small bottle, no warning
  12. You can not fit 2idn in your current dash. 2din looks like this:
  13. Most of the time the promo color for scoutline is the Denim Blue, its just really badly done in CGI and doesn't look correct. But for those images its maybe meant to be the Crystal Blue: If you are willing to pay more, there are a LOT of colors you can get, just ask the dealer.
  14. Fabia noise isolation is fairly bad. Its a "feature". Depending what your previous car was, can be really annoying. Adding sound deadening mats helps a lot. Wind deflectors also should help a little and using softer tires.
  15. The 1.2tsi is reliable engine, specially the ones in mk3 fabia, before they switched to 1.0tsi. I see no reason it would fail randomly. I have 1.2tsi mk2 as a daily driver, 6 years old, 78k miles, purrs like a kitten.
