  1. Hi Guys Pretty much as the title says, my VRS is currently on 17s (original) and just wondered what would fit for winter tyres and still clear clippers etc. Better still is there a option of just get a set of original VW, audi , Skoda Seat whatever and stick winter tyres on them.
  2. Thank you so much that just what i wanted, i bought a coil removal tool off eBay for £10, i'm going to have a crack on Friday its been a while as i've been running diesels for the past 7 years.
  3. I'm sorry for posting this as i think the info is on here i just can't seem to find it now, i'm sure somebody posted pictures of which pipes to disconnect and where to disconnect them to get the one PITA plug out ? going to have a crack at changing them for the first time on my day off. I've ordered the denso skj20cr plugs for a 2013 CTHE after reading several posts on plugs. Once again i apologise because i'm sure the info is already on here i swear i've seen these pictures on here before.
  4. Just tried and had the same reply sorry this service is temporarily unavailable, i'll try again tomorrow
  5. Its 2013 and 13000 miles, It has the CTHE engine code i'll put the VIN number in as soon as i get home tonight and let you know what comes up, thanks again
  6. Brilliant thank you i'll leave it on then. Can't see anything written on the old one, the car came from a VW dealer that apparently did x amount of checks and gave it a full service about 8 months ago but i think i might just check the spark plugs/ change them after reading a few of your posts Awayoffski swap the oil out while i'm at it i figure it can't hurt even if they did do/check it Cheers xman so not having it on isn't likely to have done any damage then. Thank you both for the speedy replies
  7. Well i apologise if this is a stupid question but i ordered a new air filter just a stock original part and there is a white material cover over it ,the old one that came out has no cover just a the standard paper filter. I've not seen one with a material cover over before so just wondering should it be on or not seems to slide on and off fairly easy. I haven't had the car from new so not sure which is correct or if it even matters so thought i'd ask on here Thanks in advance chaps
