Hi sorry me again during refitting radio my car now beeps 3 times and won't start turnover also the brake light is blinking .

Google gives it as a internal temperature sensor . Probably why my heating is alway wrong just need to find where it goes . Thanks

Hi all ive just been changing my radio and have found this hanging to the right of the compartment. Can any one tell me what it is and where ir belongs as i cant see a place for it . Thank you

Hello all whilst installing a rear camera i manage to knock the connector for the rear window heater of , i was told by skoda that i would have to replace the window due to the way it is connected . just wondering if any one has had this problem and fixed it and how or is there is a type of metal glue( i tried the repair glue for the actual element but not strong enough ) that will repair it . any advice appreciated

sorry for being bone but where is the fuel filter i have a 2007 1.6 fsi petrol i've done most of the other stuff but as i can't get a haynes manual for my model so if any one can help it would be appreciated

i got a quote of 600 euros(Live in Germany) as i'd let the servicing slip (last done 2010) so now doing myself oils,filters, spakplugs, for 100 euros then the brake fluid done for 30 euros the rest is all checks according to the service schedule next up is the timing belt but got about 10000 miles til that's due just wish i could get a Haynes manual for my model (1.6 fsi petrol 2007 ) just a quick question though , do i need a screw back tool for pushing the pistons back in when i do the brake pads or can i just compress them back in , Thanks

i.ve just looked at my 2007 1,6 fsi and have to coil thingy;s on top and the spark plug they have been in since 2007 and my car drives fine but i am replacing them next week along with all the filters and break fluid i did the oil is there any thing else i should change and where is the fuel filter , sorry for hijacking the post but not sure where to put the request thanks

hello all, well was back on the reverse camera today using a volt meter on the boot light LHS connected the power cable + to this and now the camera works perfectly but only when it will so i'm getting there maybe it just the head unit (wasn't the most expensive ) will keep an eye on it and see how i go Thanks for all the advice and help

john i have connected those cables as is the instructions say head unit red cable to head unit the other loose red cable to the reverse light the earth on the power cable (red/black cable) to the earth stud , just the red power cable is the problem i've tried all the obvious places and it works with the ignition on clear screen but as soon as i turn the engine on the camera goes of ???????? any help appreciated i have posted photos of the wiring bellow

the problem i'm having is not interference the camera goes of as soon as i turn the engine on i tried just pushing the cable into the socket to test but with the same result or do i have to have to plug plugged in to light for it to work ? i am trying as you say but something is going wrong and it's driving me mad please help before i go of on one lol any help clear instructions /picture would really be appreciated before i go and pay some one like with the radio . please could you tell me which fuse you used was it the reverse fuse as i'm going mad with my reversing camera work with power only but goes of when engine running

is it just me as i can't see any of the pictures in the description the i see the camera picture and the relay but just blank squares for the rest or could you message how you did it i been trying to fit a camera to a aftermarket multimedia system, the camera was with it it works when the ignition is in the on position but as soon as i turn the engine on it stops working and i'm going mad please help TIA Derek

sorry if i put this in the wrong place but getting desperate . Hello all need some help advice , i have recently purchase and after market audio system which reverse camera after following the instruction i connected the camera which work fine but only with the engine of ( key in on position) but will not work when the car is running. The plus is connected to a cable that is used for the tow bar(also after market) which runs directly to the Battery, do i need a different power source or is there something else i'm not seeing i have tried all other possiblities except directly to the fuse please help as it driving me mad TIA

well tried that and still no joy the camera works fine when only the ignition is on but as soon as i turn on the engine , Nothing have tried on various places the only place i've not tried is the directly to the reversing fuse if anyone can help please let me know
